LFG: Looking for a learning group for FFG's Edge of the Empire Series

Huge fan of Saga Edition looking for a learner's group for FFG's Edge of the Empire series. I have the beta book from GenCon when it first came out, and I can find the pdfs for the other books, but I'd like to find a group first. I am in Central time, and would like to find a group that preferably plays on the weekends at night, but I'm pretty flexible for times (so long as it's not 6 in the morning! lol). Willing to help contribute maps, though I know they aren't used the same as in movement based games like Saga Edition. I am a strong role-player who likes to delve into backstories that are balanced, and if given a little freedom, can usually come up with a pretty interesting character that errs on the side of minimal rather than min-maxed (for example, I loved the point buy system because it allowed for customization and helped guide the backstory of the character). If you're curious about the types of backstories I can come up with, see my deviantart site at twowolves80.deviantart.com. As to types of characters I like to play, I usually go smugglers, scoundrels, rogues or whatever, but always with a twist for interest. I like to play outside the normal archetypes and against type, but I'm savvy enough to pick up on the GM's campaign and "corral" other players through roleplaying to help the GM out if things are getting off on a tangent. Feel free to ask any questions you like. Two Wolves :D

Im interested. Ive never actually played any of the SW RPGs. I have them and been wanting to play. Also sent you a PM.
Got it. I have played Saga Edition for so long, I'm feeling the same weird hesitance to try FFG's new system just like when d20 came out and I was still using the AD&D 2E rules (Oh, God, no more THAC0!). I'm a big map person, though. I love the visuals, but from what I understand, they aren't used the same way anymore, though on the other hand, I hear there's nothing stopping anyone from still having one out for a little visual flair in the FFG system which is a relief. I (we) just need to find a group for noobs in this new system to acclimate to it.
