Cortex+ Dramatic (Smallville): Coty of Shadows

Looking for 5 players. Friday at 1pm CST Pitch: Brought together by destiny, power, and will, those who move behind the city are coming into conflict. A woman who can possess people, a voodoo practitioner claimed by the darkest of the Loa, a cop who's found herself embroiled in a larger world than she imagined, a man who's mastered his rage to help his city, and a man with wealth and too much power..... by the end of this, the city will be saved. Or doomed. NOTE: Cortex Plus Dramatic is what I call a Co-operative Player Vs. Player experience. Imagine the main 5 characters are the leads in a TV series---getting rid of one of them isn't something easily done. The players will be working at odds with each other but, if this is done openly and in cooperatio with each other, it's a tremendous amount of fun. Links to the relationship map will be available on the Fear the Con forums once I get them up so you can see the world they inhabit. No prior experience is necessary. ----- Info: I'm going to run this a time or two before the con to streamline how I'm going to use 'multiple episodes' in the game. C+ Dramatic actually LOVES powergamers. People who cheese the hell out of advancing their character actually bring a ton of interesting situations to the game. To showcase how cool I think the system is, and to give players a taste for how characters advance and why getting in tough situations is AWESOME in this game, I'm going to split the session and, at the 1/2 way point, essentially create an episode break so people get to do advancement and then go to the next session. All characters have been made. Here's the relationship map: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0bXLcqGtFVpWWg2b1FsZllUelU/view?usp=sharing Here's the Character sheets: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0bXLcqGtFVpWFpfaW56M19nZzg/view?usp=sharing roll20 Link https://app.roll20.net/join/670006/o0koJw I'll be getting the character sheets set on roll20 today.
Hi Mikel, I've played a good deal of C+ Action (Firefly), and have been eyeing Dramatic for a while. I'll happily join you for this. I'm curious, do you have a spreadsheet to go with the relationship map? All those lines make it a bit difficult to read.
I don't. When I'm on my laptop again, I can check and see if a larger picture can be made, but I don't think Xmind (I think that's what I use) can spit out a spreadsheet. The most important ones are on the character sheet.
All good, it's not untenable just one of the less convenient bits of the system. If you really want to get enough people to do the test run you may want to consider advertising to the Cortex Plus Roleplaying community on G+.
Looks like we could still use 1-2 people. Starting in an hour.
