Brand New Player Looking for 5e Campaign!

(Copy+Pasted from last thread since I'm too lazy to write something different about me) I'm a nerd. Well no shit, I'm on a website designed to play some of the nerdiest games ever imagined by man with more of my kin. I play video games of all kind and have been doing it since I was a wee lad. I loved classics like Resident Evil on the first PlayStation, and the gory action RPG that was Diablo 2. RPGs have usually been my favorite in video games from as basic as Pokemon to as complex as Dragon Age: Origins (I've never actually played Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale and the other legends. Blasphemy, I know). I'm in the process of playing the new game Pillars of Eternity which is supposed to be a throwback and tip-of-the-hat to the legendary cRPG genre. Anyway, so you know role-playing is something I enjoy. I'll skip the history of my video game taste and just say that the only experience I have in role-playing with other people is on the ancient Starcraft: Brood War over Battle.net. It was just an RTS game, but the map editor allowed you to make custom games (with its trigger system) that could be anything that wasn't real-time strategy. One such genre of Use Map Settings (the name of the type of map that used the triggers) were RPs, or Role-Plays. Each player had a spawner that, well, spawned units. Each unit was named something like "Bowman" for simple infantry or "Valkyrie" for hero units (which we used as characters). So you'd use the units to move around the map and act out the scenario and you'd use the in-game chat system to write out the actual role-playing. Some of my best memories with this game were from RP maps (but you know I played this game while I was still 9-14 years old so I won't say I was a professional or anything). I watched a lot of shows like Futurama when I was growing up and a lot of shows like that would parody nerds and they would always be dressed up in chainmail and playing Dungeons and Dragons. You were supposed to laugh because "ha, they're nerds! What losers!" but I was always interested. The only thing I've ever seen was combat (ie: "I swing my sword of truth!" *rolls dice* "hurrah!") since that's probably the only thing those doing the parodying think of when they bring up DnD. Either way, all through my life I wanted to try DnD at least once. But of course, I was a bit of a hermit since I grew up in a time where video games were considered bad traits you didnt want to have. (but that quickly changed while i was in high school) I've just picked up and read through the Player Handbook for 5e and I'm interested in playing a campaign for it! My schedule: Central Time Zone Monday: 4:35(ish)pm-9:00pm Tuesday: 4:35(ish)pm-9:00pm Wednesday: 4:35(ish)pm-9:00pm Thrusday: 4:35(ish)pm-9:00pm Friday: None (I have a Hackmaster game I've committed to) Saturday: All day-All night Sunday: All day-9:00pm I have to be awake at 5:00am Monday-Friday, so you'll have to remember that on Sunday nights and week nights!
