no more people needed "Kelmion City, Coastal Capital of the Remnier Empire.
A true utopia in this new era, shining hope to all other cities in the
Empire." All of these are true in one way, but those who live in
this "perfect" city know the truth. For you see Kelmion is not one
City, it is two. There is the main face of the city. The part that
everyone in the Empire knows about, the "Jewel" of the empire where
grand palace and College resides, I shining city with very low crime
rates, clean streets and where culture springs forth from every corner.
This is the City known to its people as Kelmion Major.
Then there is the other half of the city that most in the world
know nothing about. A city built in the ruins of an older civilization
not but a few miles from Kelmion Major. Its buildings consisting of
decrepit ruins that could very well collapse on you with enough violent
shaking from the earth, or small wooden shacks made from the rotten wood of the
ruins, and rusty nails that Kelmion Major threw out. A horrid place with
Thugs in every ally, beggars on the streets, and the poor and downtrodden on
every corner. This is the City known to its people as Kelmion Minor, or simply
the Minor, where hope goes to die.
Kelmion Major is a town full of beautiful sights, many shops,
businesses, and many forms of entertainment. It is the capital city of
the Remnier Empire and holds the royal palace in its center. There are
many forms of easy jobs available for the inhabitants, or if you’re looking to
better educate yourself you can go to the College to learn. People from
the Minor are looked down upon here and are usually not allowed within the city
walls, except for rare occasions
The Minor is a horrible place, very gloomy and has almost no job
opportunities for those who live within it. That and the fact that anyone
who breaks the law is branded and sent to live in the Minor after their time in
prison is done and it is a dreary place. Most people are usually forced
into one of five options, become a beggar and probably starve to death, be
talented enough to get a work permit in the city (something very rare), work in
the recycling factories run by the Major (long hours, horrible pay), steal, or
become an adventurer. Getting jobs as an adventurer isn't that hard here
since some people from the Major usually need some dirty deed done, and salvage
from nearby ruins usually is good if you can kill off the animals within.
This is my first time DMing a game. I've been playing
simply as a character for a couple of years now and it’s something I want to
try out and get some experience in. One spot left
Any kind of Race or Class is acceptable
Also, must have Skype And I will need your Character sheet (as a PDF or the file format of the Wizards character creator) and your character backstory before the first session
Start level one, basic start out, if you come from the Minor start out with a little less gold, if you come from the Major, a little more.
BedRock: A mining town ran by Fromen Industries. A small town a weeks journey on foot from Kelmion. Its main export is Iron, and is mostly just a shanty village. It has a small shrine in the middle that is for all the gods which also doubles as a school for the Minors Children. It is nowhere near the size of Kelmion, but still a decent size village with a general store that keeps some supplies for adventurers, an Inn, and a information center for Fromen Industries. Playing this Sunday starting at 9:30 PM to around 1:30 AM eastern
