LF Pendragon campaign

Edition : 5e / 5.1e Campaign : King Arthur Pendragon Currently Need : DM Unlike most campaigns, players in a pendragon campaign are typically not the primary focus of the world. Instead they are generally stand-out individuals who witness events unfolding around them. While there is some room for determining outcomes in the story-line, for the most part players are along for the ride. It is quite easy to die in Pendragon during combat, so death is not uncommon. On top of that as the story progresses many years pass which in turn will lead players to playing their children's characters and so forth once their main one has died through combat or old age. There is a micromanaging phase during the sessions called the winter phase which allows players to build up their respective areas which can net them additional money per year, or extra chances at improving skills, or assist them with chances of succeeding in other skills. Probably the most important feature of pendragon to note is the fact that there will be times where a player's squire/knight will act in ways that the player does not want them to act. This is determined by rolls against a player's personality traits and passions. For example, you could have a character who you're playing as a chaste knight, saving himself for the perfect women, who succeeds on a lustful check and ends up throwing aside his beliefs and taking the bar maid. Overall the campaign is a different style from most typical campaigns, but if the King Arthur legend is something that interests you and you're wanting to try something new, then feel free to join us.
It's not as rare as you think, I've seen games advertised for it both in the forum here and the normal LFG several times in the last few months. I'm sure with a little patience you will get one.
I've looked a few times in the last couple of months with little luck unfortunately. I am keeping my hopes up though.
Going to give this a bump.
Bump
Daily bump, hopefully I can find some interested people for this x_x
I'm interested in this too!
Well that's good, atleast one more person is lol xD
I know I have seen and posted to two pendragon threads just this month, people are out there. It's a little bit of a rarity though for sure, and a little tough to run, but the players that like it, buy into it. I played in a fantastic game of this last year on roll20.
Yeah it does take a unique group of people to enjoy it.
it's more narrative, but there's also a lot of difficult combat. I really liked it/ A guy named Cory ran it. If I had more time I'd run it.
Yeah you can die quite easily in it if you're not careful.
Giving another bump, would still need a couple more players and a DM to get this going.
im willing to join a Pendragon Game as a player, have the Rule book but never have actualy played, what times and days ar eyou guys planning on having it? mmy time is PDT (pacific Day Time)
Most of the weekdays work for me, usually after 5pm EST. I'm sure once we get a group of people situated we can figure out a time.
awesome, on weekend I can go after 9PM-ish, on Saturdays as have a DH2E game, Sundays are completely open, Weekdays only on Monday to Wednesday but Test will start soon, for Thursday and Fridays anything i have games/projects starting at 9ish on those days. just t add a bit more info.
Daily bump
Daily Bump! So far we have 3 people willing to play, 1 or 2 more would be nice and we also need someone willing to DM it.
Be wary of crossbowmen is my advice
Generally good advice for people walking around in tin cans :D
Daily bump!
Bumping
Daily back up Bump
If I don't end up finding someone for the game I'm trying to run, I might be up to GM this on Sunday afternoons.

I wouldn't be able to commit to this long term, am month at most, but this is a game I've been wanting to get into. I feel if I can join as a player and get some guidance, I'll be able to DM later.
@Mikel Sounds good man, keep us up to date :) @Garreth This campaign is built to be long term, it may be possible to work you in as a player, generally having 4 or 5 is ideal I think.
sounds like it could be fun but not sure if its something i would like but i might be will to try it when do u plan to run the game
Not too sure on a day/time just yet, need to find a playerbase and DM before all of that is discussed and decided on. Making this my daily bump.
I have been wanting to play Pendragon for a long time now, I am very much interested.
I was advertising a Pendragon a little while back, I didn't manage to gather any real interest. Although I both love the system and the setting. It's probably my second favorite TRPG. Right after Call of Cthulhu.
Well we have several players interested as of now, but no confirmed DM for the game. Once a DM is found, we'll work out a day and time to play each week and see what players that works best for.

Well we should probably put up a looking for GM.
Outside making a new topic I don't think there is a way to edit the current one's title. That being said, we have several players interested but its quite possible that not all of us will have the same availability so keeping this post near the top isn't a bad thing.
No help on the GM front for this sadly but I've been reading through the core rulebook and if ya'll ever find someone to run this I would love a chance to try it out as long as you can handle new players.
It may be possible, the day/time we've settled upon is 3:00pm - 7:00pm EST on Sundays.
