Fairly New DM LF 3-4 Players! [New Player Welcome!] [Pathfinder][GMT+1][Mon, Tue or Thur, 5 - 10 PM]

Hello my fellow Roll20 users! I’ve been playing table-tops for over a year now, and seeing the lack of games suiting my times, I decided to start up my own little campaign. I’ll be using the Pathfinder setting, and modifying things to my liking (Only things I really modify, might be the size of towns, how they work, and maybe other smaller things like that). I have tried DMing before, and got a lot of positive feedback, but I still lack some experience when it comes to it. So! What I’m looking for here, are a couple of semi-experienced players, basically people who know what they’re doing (not necessarily, but preferably), but at the same time learn new things as they go on (and hopefully help me develop as a DM!). Things about the campaign: You’d be starting off as mercenaries, and depending on what you want, you’ll be on a job or looking for one. (Job is to be discussed, depending on what sort of job the party wants). This campaign will be fairly role-play heavy, so prepare to role-play a whole lot. I’ll be leaving a lot of freedom to the players, and will do my best not to make it feel “rail-roady”, and will let the players decide everything that happens (except the obvious DM stuff). Some rules when it comes to playing with me: - I don’t tolerate assholes in any way, so don’t be one. - Respect other players, and you will be respected. - Don’t Metagame nor Powergame. Character Creation: 20 Point buy Core races only (Ask me if you want some other race) Paizo matierial only (Ask me if you want something 3rd party) You start at lvl 1, and you get as much gold as your class gives you. Starting HP is your full hit die + Con Mod, on level up we roll and you get what you get. Ending note: If you are interested or have any more questions, contact me on here or add me on Skype. Skype name: barbatron1
I would be interested, but I'm completely new to tabletop role playing, but I have done some light reading on 5e. I understand if you would rather like someone slightly more experienced than "never played before". I take it http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ is the correct place to read up on pathfinder?
Yes, it is the right place to read up on that, and I'd love to have you on for the learning ride! add me on skype and ask anything you'd like on there! :)
Pretty much in the same boat as the previous responder, i'm new to roleplaying myself but am pretty familiar with 5e at this point. I have a lot of the Pathfinder stuff as i was already getting interested in the system, since i've been hearing a lot of good stuff about it. I'll add you with roll20 in the message :)
Sounds good to me
Im mainly a DM, DMed for 5 years, though mostly stuff like dark heresy and rogue trader, I have about a years worth of experience with DnD so I would sorta be interested in playing.
Like the previous two people, add me on skype and we can discuss this further :)
If you are still looking for another player, I'd be interested in possibly joining this. I am not what I would call an experienced player per say, but I have read over a lot of the pathfinder stuff over time, and had a couple groups attempt to start something to only have it kind of die out after a couple sessions. Anywho, I just wanted to clarify the timezone. I believe this is 7 hours ahead of PST? so 5 PM would be 10 AM? I work nights, so it isn't a huge issue as long as it isn't much earlier then 9 AM PST.
Yes, we're still looking for 1! Mike, Add me on skype and we shall talk more on there. And the time we'd start would be 6 PM, as we discussed that in a skype group (11 AM for you). Like I said, add me on skype and we shall talk on there :)
I'd be interested in joining as well if you need another player. I'm 21, and have been playing Pathfinder for a couple years now so I have a pretty solid grasp on the rules. I happen to really enjoy playing with new players and helping them learn the ropes, and i'm all for helping a DM figure it out too if need be. I play a number of different roles, but rarely spellcasters aside from the occasional Magus. I like strikers, tanks, and skill based characters, so whatever role needs to be filled I'm cool with taking. If you need any other information feel free to shout at me, or my skype is Zewbacca as well. I realize you only had one slot and Mike here will probably be taking it, but if you happen to find yourself in need of one more, give me a shout.
We're full now, sorry!
