This is the preliminary world map for the southern continents of Radelf, the area this campaign will be occurring. Barren Rock is the native homelands of the orcs and is dotted with orc tribes that inhabit the scrublands (think Australian outback). Big Rock is a self-proclaimed throne of the strongest and what many consider to be the leader of the Orc tribes. The coastal cliffs act as a fortifiable settlement for this clan which is the most likely to trade with outsiders. Their willingness to trade has sent many of their kin over the sea into Trent and into the wilderness surrounding Trent where they intermingle with the native human tribes. Sigral is a land divided a long time ago between two twins named Segral and Sigral. The two nations separate the southern portion of the continent and are as culturally different from one another as elves and orcs are. The northern portion of the continent is inhabited by a combination of various races but mainly gnomes and dwarves whom are generally considered outcasts elsewhere in the southern continents. The capital of Steam Harbor is the legendary port in which massive iron ships that can traverse the treacherous Firewater Ocean are built. Castron, the largest of the southern continents, is divided by Bleaker’s Range. To the west of the range only one large settlement exists, Sandtown. The majority of this portion of the continent is desert that is bordered by mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The west side of Bleaker’s Range jungles starting from Elfvale tapper off and give way to temperate forests and plains with the majority of the land past Freeport being plains. The southern portion of the continent is dominated by the city of Cold Coast that rises out of the tundra and is made of magical ice and is the capital of arcane magic in the southern continents. The remaining continent is dominated by elves that live in the largest crystal formation in the known world and dwarves who have created the largest monolith and the racial dwarven capital. Dwarfhalls, the dwarven capital is said to at one tie to be a magical leyline funneling device that was used to transport the dwarves to another plane during times in which their stone walls failed. Iron Heath is a massive mountain range that has been carved down into a settlement made of iron and other metals that overlooks the Bigwater Ocean. The crystal elven capital of Verdant Crystal is said to have been an anchor around which the unformed world of Radelf collected in the god’s cauldron. As such the most ancient of races lives there and hones their contemplative arts and skills. Trent and Golden Rock are the major cities of a nation known as Redmarch. Gibbs, Capro and Gilfrey are the centers of another nation called Casto. Freeport is a city state. Sandtown is the capital of Dres, and Cold Coast is the capital of Wvrenic. minor townships exist with in each of these territories but these are the major cities of the southern continents. Likely you came from Redmarch or Castro but Freeport is a mixing pot of the races so you could be from there as well. Sigral and Segral are both human nations with gnome and orc influences.

Most places are dominated by humans. The places that are the exceptions are mentioned. I guess I should have said that. Elfvale and Brightleave along with Verdant crystal are the most elf inhabited places.

Likely you came from Redmarch or Castro but Freeport is a mixing pot of the races so you could be from there as well. Sigral and Segral are both human nations with gnome and orc influences but as we are starting in Freeport you would be quite a long journey from home.
