The Remaking: A Forgotten Realms 3.5 D&D Campaign

Need players! Search for the Remaking and read the topics please and ask questions if interested!
What time/day are you guys planning on playing?
You could have at least provided a link.
Sorry I'm new to this, thought you could just search games. Here you are https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/139252/the-remaking
Kinsume said: What time/day are you guys planning on playing? I'll be running the game every other Saturday starting at 8pm est
Yeah that time works quite nicely for me as I'm always off work before 8pm.
Cool deal. Classes are pretty much open as no one has applied or anything.
Sounds fun. Id like to join if there is room.
I'd like to join as well if there's room.
I will likely be making a Fighter.
I'd enjoy playing on this game as 3.5 is my preferred D&D edition. Most likely would play something along the lines of a fighter/duskblade, though I can come up with some very interesting characters.
Please begin posting in the campaign threads if you can as far as character concepts and such go. Looks like so far we have as players: Ryan, Shane, Kinsume, and Scott G can you all make the specified time?
Yes, without a doubt.
Cool man go ahead and start working on a character. Rules are on the campaign forum.
You have to private message us the link that allows us to join, otherwise we can't see the campaign's forum.
Alright working on that now
Ya time works fine for me.
Sent you all the link, sorry about that.
Working on learning the tools and such so I've launched the game if you guys want to chat and are on.
I wouldn't mind gettin' in on this here campaign. I've been looking for a 3.5 game to play an artificer in, I could be the group's craftmonkey.
Artificers aren't really handy at the lower levels unless its a full campaign, but in most modules they see very little use. Frankly it wouldn't be worth splitting the xp and gold over having one in this campaign I don't believe. I think we still need players though, currently we have a Cleric and a Wizard so some kind of Fighter, Ranger, Barbarian, ect frontliner and then some kind of striker rogue would probably round out the party quite well.
Im new to TTRPG, but i'd like to join if you don't mind, I would like to play either a fighter or a rogue. I would need some help with a lot of things probably.
I'll send you guys a link then. As far as who plays, depends on the response. It looks like so far Kinsume and Scott are definately in, so for now 2 slots are filled out of the 4 man group.,
I would definitely join if you don't mind me being new to TTRPG and roll 20, as i said previously. The time works for me.
Well I'll be playing the Cleric, Scott has decided to make a Fighter. Since we're going with a party of 4 we need a Rogue and a Wizard for a solid party balance.
So, if I was to join, I'd need to make a rogue, works for me. Although I do not know much for character creation, and I do not know the rules as of yet.
The problem for you is the Rogue and Wizard are two of the less new player friendly classes/roles in the game. The Rogue is a very positional character and can easily wind up in a bad spot in large battles while trying to get his sneak attacks in and a Wizard is quite unforgiving if you pick the wrong spells or lack proper positioning. I could help you make a character sheet for a Rogue and give you some pointers, however in terms of roleplaying it and in battles I can't coach you as to what you should/shouldn't do.
Well, I do need to start somewhere, and this is the only dnd campaign that I have found that lets me play. Anyway, they say people learn better from mistakes, so I'll take the risk and make a rogue.
Well we'll make sure the DM is going to let you play first before I go through all the loops, if he has private messaged you a link click on it and it'll let you join the game. He is fairly strict compared to most DM's about character creation and such so I'm not entirely sure how high his tolerance is going to be for a beginner.
Serg have you ever played DnD 3.5 at all?
The closest thing i've played to DnD at all is pathfinder's begginer box
Sent you a link Pieter. Sergio, how long did you play the game?
around an hour, so I don't know much
Sorry man, looking for people with some experience. Pretty much jumping into the game from the get go.
I can consider to join, but i might only be able to play 2-3 hour at a time on saturday evenings. experienced player here.
