Name: Corso Race: Human Class: Inquisitor Story: Corso had long lived in the shadow of his father Gyran, a famed inquisitor who walked the world dealing justice to criminals and those who harbored them. The city of Magnimar is a big city and being their home, Corso knew it was the place to start- there's plenty of work to be done in such a diverse land and Magnimar has its share of underworld. Corso realized from a young age that he had an affinity for not just the sword and bow and magic as his father before him, but also a gift for stealth and subversion. This skillset made him particularly ideal for infiltrating the sprawling dark markets and plots that lie under the peaceful facades that ordinary folk never see through. He was good at his work and was gaining notoriety working alongside his father- that is until he saw "too much"- uncovering a vast plot by a scheming politician named Olan Gremere. Olan's pull in the city aristocracy was too strong, and Corso quickly found himself in the dungeons labeled a traitor with innumerable (and false) charges levied against him. His father was dead, and Corso was accused of slaying his own flesh and blood. No trial by peer would be had for such heinous accusations. He had one chance to escape, and when he was being moved to another dungeon, he took it, using his ability to disappear into the landscape. He left Magnimar and vowed to never return until he was stronger, and that his return would be contingent on his placing an arrow through Olan Gremere's heart. Until then, he's taken odd jobs working for various mercenaries, adventurers, and a few less-than-reputable contacts. He can be seen passing through towns, his identity concealed under hood and cloak, looking for work and offering his blade and bow to any who will have it.
