Token Editing Lag

When I double click a token to edit it it locks up the Roll20 client for about six seconds, then locks it up for another six seconds after confirming changes. I've already checked to make sure my drivers are up to date and that my hardware acceleration is on in Chrome. Does anyone else have this problem?

All the time, but usually only after I have been running for some time, it seems to slow down as I go. One thing to try is to shut off your virus checker, that has helped a bit. After two or three hours it sometimes slows down, I usually quit the game and restart my browser and it clears up.

Cure, I'm sorry you're having trouble with editing tokens. Can you please follow Steps 1-3, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.

Thanks everyone! I went through Steps 1-3 which seemed to reduce the amount of lag, but there is still a tiny bit. The step that seemed to help was clearing out the cache. The lag was reduced down to 1 second ish, and I believe I've found out what is causing it. It seems to only occur on player characters that are pulling information from in game character sheets.

Depending on the size of the character sheet, # and size of tokens, additional features like dynamic lighting, etc. there can be quite a load on your system.

Cure, is the lag happening with every character sheet, or just some? Do you have a high number of sheets in your game?

Steve, its happening on the five player character sheets I have in game. I am using the dnd 5e shaped.

Cure, does it happen in other campaigns with different character sheets, or is this specific to the Shaped Character Sheet? That sheet has a lot going on.

Steve, seems to exist but not as bad (i checked it out in another campaign with dnd 5e standard sheets). The issue isn't as bad anymore after clearing out the cache, its still noticeable but its not a bother... i assume its just trying to load so much information.
