Veteran DM/Player seeking an active group to belong to

Hello, fellow gamers. My name is Shawnn, and I've been a roleplayer for the past 26 years, 23 of those as a DM. Unfortunately, for the past year I have been without a regular rp group, as my regulars have impossible schedules to coordinate now. My schedule is mostly open, so I should be able to coordinate with anything you need. I'm a terrible artist as far as map creation goes, so if I do DM I'd prefer it to be via voice, without miniatures if at all possible. As a player, I'm open to most anything within reason, though I feel text-only games take far too long to move plots along. I would adore to find a long term campaign or a versatile group that will play campaigns from different games, starting something new once the old finalizes. I tend to play evil characters more believably than I do heroes, though antiheroes can be alot of fun. If you have questions or comments, feel free to message me. Hey I would love to join a game as a player, not much of a DM, I have over 20 years of gaming experience myself and looking for a game I can get into after my kids go to sleep so pretty much any night but friday works provided the start time is 9:30 EST or later.

I am a 30+ year gamer myself. A few people moved away recently so my local gaming group has become small and we haven't found decent replacements. I have been trying to find a group on here of mature gamers who would like to be in a campaign style Pathfinder game. I can do ~ 7 pm on Fridays. Possibly Saturdays. I have been GMing a lot so I would love to play if possible.

I would like to join also what edition are we going to play for the campain

I am down for Pathfinder, or a 3.x version. The other newer D&D versions are of no interest to me.

As far as D&D goes, I prefer AD&D 2nd Edition over 3rd and 3.5, though I do like what I've read of Pathfinder. Haven't played 4th or 5th editions, so no opinions either way. I adore Mutants and Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, old World of Darkness, and a few D&D campaign settings (Ravenloft, Dark Sun, Planescape). I would like to try out Deadlands at some point, as a player. Star Wars d20 can be fun, though the rules for it are clunky and partially pointless. I try to avoid the Palladium systems and GURPS due to the confusing nature and how difficult it is to actually level up as a player. The Serenity RP and Dragon Age have interesting systems, and don't require miniatures or maps, so that is a bonus. I also have the Simple System Table-Top RPG System, but have yet to really test it out with a group. I'm fairly flexible and willing to try new things, though it may be wiser to learn as a player so as not to hinder the entertainment of the other players. Do any of these games interest you? Want to play something not listed? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

I think I've just filled up on slots in my AD&D 2E campaign, otherwise I would like to invite you. If a spot opens (if one of the new applicants drops out for some reason) I will try to message you then.
