Learn 5E Tonight Thursday 4/23/2015 7:00 PM CDT Session for NEW PLAYERS

I will be running another 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons Session at 7:00 PM CDT Thursday Night April 23th, session will run 3 hours... This will be geared some what toward New Players but anyone who wants to can play... This game will feature up to 6 Pre Generated Characters that are fully scripted and complete with all the macros... The available characters are a Fighter, a Cleric, a Wizard, a Rogue, a Bard, and a Paladin. The characters are level 2 The event will use almost all of Roll20's bells and whistles including dynamic lighting and the API.... New Players will find the game quite easy to jump right in... The game will use either Hangouts or Skype for the Chat Connection so a working Mic is required, no video will be used... If you are interested and SERIOUS in joining post something HERE... I will repeat this again as there is a terrible problem here in Roll20 with people who sign up for games and don't show up, this denies a punctual player who wanted to play, but couldn't because someone signed up for the Link and was a NO SHOW... I have absolutely no knowledge of 5e (or DnD, for that matter... pathfinder player) yet it has stirred a bit of my curiosity, and if I can get a running start while also getting to know more about roll20 (mostly on macro construction and what can it be used for), this sounds good. I'd like to join, willing to take wizard, rogue or bard, with that order of preference. You're talking to a GMT +2 player, timing will be on the mark as I'll need to be going at about 10-10:30 PM CDT (if I did my timezone math right), but you can be sure that I will show up if I'm accepted. Again... no actual experience or knowledge of 5E, so you'll probably have to run me through everything. But I pick up fast. Also, Skype and microphone support is a-okay. Not a lot of good experience with google hangouts, but I can do either.

I am very serious about joining! Would it be possible to have a druid character made for me or getting help in making my own? If not then I would like to play a bard!

I'm interested in joining. As a note, I'd like to thank you for running such a game with premade PCs. I'm brand new to tabletop rpgs (though not rpgs in general) and need a learning experience.

I'd love to join, preferably as the wizard or cleric but any class really would be great. I played a session or two of 5e during the playtest, but that was two years ago and I'm sure much changed in the official release anyhow. I'm sure I can pick it up quick, though. I'm good for Skype, though I've never used Hangouts before.

Hello, I am new to roll20 but I have experience playing D&D, just not 5th edition. I would be incredibly excited to join your campaign to see how it all works and have no problem dedicating the time. Out of your available characters I am most experienced with Clerics but don't mind giving the others a try. Give me a shout if there is still room!

Ajax, I couldn't have asked for a better GM to help me get going with the basics. This was my first D&D session ever, and my third Pathfinder session. I still have an incredible amount to learn, but I feel quite a bit more confident about what I am able to do within the rules. The dynamic lighting added a layer of realism and the pre-made macros were a brilliant touch as well so I didn't have to fumble quite as much. I had tons of fun and can't wait to play again. You definitely have a knack for teaching and patience with us newbies! It's much appreciated.
