Rolls say things?

Okay, so... I want to make a macro for my game for a character I'm building. He has randomized abilities, and I want to (if it's possible) make it so that when the roll scores a certain number, a little text thing happens. So, for example: Roll 1D10. On a 10, the text "[Insert Abilitiy Here] activates!" appears On a 9, the text "[Insert other Abilitiy Here] activates!" appears On an 8, the text "[Insert other Abilitiy Here] activates!" appears and so on and so forth. I could make like 11 macros or so as a workaround to this and do all of that manually, but... I'd rather not, if possible. xD

Hello Taylor. What you are wanting sounds like a rollable table . Take a look and see if it fits your needs.
It's similar to what I'm looking for, but not quite what I need... If there were a way to replace the icon image part with an option text-only part, that'd be perfect. Just in regard to the roll table in general: I don't quite understand why it's rolling something, for example, and say "=0" underneath whatever the title of the rolled thing is.

How do you mean? In the case of the =0, it's because all rollable tables can be evaluated as part of a mathematical expression: /r 1d6 + 1t[RandomBonusTable] The value of an item is number the name begins with or 0. In the case of pure text, the value is 0, which is what the result of the roll is telling you with the = 0. You can add images to a rollable table and they will show up in chat, or can be used as a Rollable Table Token on the VTT.

Instead of using /roll 1t[new-table] Use an inline roll [[1t[new-table]]] the result should be just the name of the item
