D&D 5E one-shot Friday May 1 8:00 pm EDT

I'll be running a series of one-shots based on the encounters in the "Book of Challenges" 3rd edition accessory book. For new players, this will be a good way to become familiar with the 5E game mechanics without requiring a long-term commitment. For veteran players, the encounters will often require creative ways to overcome them instead of direct frontal combat. I plan to run a game every other week on Friday nights at 8 pm EDT with each session running at most 2-3 hours. If you're available one week but not another, that's okay. Just play on days that you can. There will be no story continuity between sessions and the game will be text only (still with maps and tokens). The game style is primarily tactical combat and creative use of skills to overcome challenges but there are also opportunities for social interaction. We are currently at level 1 but will progressively go to higher and higher levels. Characters should use standard array with starting equipment provided by class/background. No variant humans. If interested, please post below and I can send an invite.
We still have room for one more player for the game session tonight. If you're familiar with 5E character creation or you already have one prepared, please post here or at the LFG listing (<a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/23003/book-of-challenges" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/23003/book-of-challenges</a>) with the race/background/class you want to play.
Well I found this posting a little late but if you have a spot open for next week, let me know. My preference would be to play a paladin but also happy to do a rogue, monk or wizard. Whatever would work best with the group will be fine. Race is flexible.
