Press & Hold Shortcut key for Measurement tool [ Ruler ]

I would like to be able to press and hold a single shortcut key (not a Shift/Cmd + key) and use the measurement tool real quick. Upon release of the key, it reverts to the previous tool. I find myself switching back and forth between the measurement and selection tools all the time, when all I really need is a quick measurement.

Hi, you might want to use the Advanced Keyboard Shortcuts to switch quickly between different tools.  If this doesn't solve your issue, please comment back here. Otherwise, I'm happy to close this thread and refund your votes.
