Delete thread

Proposal: Add option to delete threads, not just entries in a thread. Problem explained: I have a campaign where I have 20 threads, some are closed, others sunk, but I cannot delete any of them and I do not know why. It should be pretty standard. This results in the forum area of the campaign being cluttered with needless threads from the past. Seriously, this is an utterly basic feature that needs implementing. Not sure why someone would say no to this.

If you delete the first message in a thread it deletes the thread.  - Gauss
I've done that before but it didn't accomplish anything... I'll try it once again and let you know of what happens. EDIT: I see what was happening... either the thread was deleted but the page did not return you to the campaign page and made you stay in the old instance of the thread, or the thread is only deleted once when you exit the thread whose first post you have deleted. Perhaps it should be considered changing the way this is handled. It doesn't feel very familiar and that goes down to less points to intuitiveness :/ Anyway, thanks for the help again...

Yokhen, if it booted you out of the page or automatically refreshed it then we would probably get complaints on how to reinstate deleted threads. This way you can at least go back to the deleted thread (by hitting the back button, going to it via your history, or pasting the URL) and reinstate it by undeleting the first post.  Note: I am not saying there is not a better way. I am not part of the Dev team and do not make decisions on how Roll20 is developed. - Gauss
Perhaps. I just think it is a little weird how this is the only website I see they have implemented it like this, while all major ones like Google services, Facebook and what not don't have anything similar to this...
