Join the resistance on 5:30 PM CDT on Friday! Looking for people interested in testing high level play in my system named Starlight Journals. The setting is a fairly utopian outlook on the future, far-flung from today's world. But the benefits of high technology, easy healthcare, super science, and easy space travel doesn't make everyone act nice everywhere. In Sol, the maleficient, backstabbing so called "Defender's of Sol" have started a repressive regime in the heart of once one of the most cosmopolitan places in the galaxy. Intent on seeing aliens exiled or killed, and their own firm ideas implanted into the human citizens, widespread discontent and even out right resistance is the normal across Solsia (Sol, Centauri-System, and Barnard's Star.) On Earth, once a resort and agricultural world, now the DoS tries to restore a long forgotten past while oppressing those who have lived there for centuries. Your characters serve as the resistance, key lynch-pins in it. Highly skilled and trained, gifted with unique armor and weapons that give them a fighting chance against the DoS soldiers, they need to drive home the advantages they have and take the world back, then the system. It is to be understood in the setting that Earth was a toxic, polluted wasteland up until around six to seven centuries ago, the setting itself being in 5600s. This wasn't the fault of humans, but alien invaders as their death-switch who did it to ensure the death of humanity. Through great effort and taking advantage of the alien's own efforts, Mars was colonized and turned into the new home of humanity. That is the true capital of DoS power as well, with the Olympus Palace serving as the seat of their government.
