Multiple instances of same player...

I saw this posted some time back with no answer to it and it wouldn't let me just ask in there as it was two months old. However, since there was no answer, I am asking if there was ever a solution as it is causing issues in my campaign. The deal is this. Two of my players logged in tonight and are listed twice in every menu for the players. Their journal and icons were "lost" to them as the original instance of them was the one set for the journal and the icon. I had to go in and add both instances of their names to the journal and the icon in order for them to see or read. Is there a way to dump one of the duplicates of them? I can't figure our how to dump these people. I have even kicked all the players out of my game and I still see three of them as there when there is no one except me invited. Any thoughts?

I believe it was solved by emailing the devs all the information such as campaign name (or url), the players that are causing the problem, and a description of the problem. From my understanding the devs have to do work behind the scenes and fix it.

Toril, PM me the url of the campaign and I'll take a look. Have you played via hangouts and through the site directly? There is occasionally issues of people making two accounts. However, this sounds more like they are identical copies of the same account. Either way I can take a look at see what happened.

This should now be fixed. Let me know if it's not.
