after running Deathwatch, Only War, Dark Heresy, and Black Crusade in
the Jericho Reach, the only thing left is to try Rogue Trader there,
besides running a Tau-centric game or Only Waaagh! Unfortunately,
I'm getting burnt out on 40k rpgs at the moment (and Rogue Trader is
definitely the worst written game in the line) and would prefer to play
in someone else's 40k sandbox rather than keep running mine. After
last nights talk, especially considering that Hoppy has left, I feel
justified in bringing the game to halt. My schedule is getting busier
too, this new job in LA has me commuting 8+ hours on the weekends and
that takes a lot out of me. The internet connectivity issues are
annoying. Its really a shame because I would have liked to see the Black
Crusade shatter the Iron Collar, and the Heretics conquering the
galaxy, that would have made the next Space Marine campaign truly
memorable. Ah well. Thanks everyone for joining in my headcanon and playing in my sandbox. If I had to be very honest, I'd add that I've been feeling kinda depressed of late and haven't had the energy that I usually commit to running these games, so the concept of recruiting a bunch of unknown quantities or starting a new campaign from scratch both seem overwhelming. Right now, I need to focus what energies I have to my fiancee and my job. When I'm feeling better maybe I'll start a new roll20 campaign.
