Testing a 5E one-shot 5/7/15 7PM EST (4PM PST, 11PM GMT)

I'm want to test my pre-made characters and make sure they're all reasonable. I will be taking three non-new players (because I want someone with experience playing the classes, even if it's not much). The characters are all Lv3 using a base stat spread of 16 14 14 12 10 10, plus racial bonuses. The options available are: • Assassin (Human, Alert feat) • Battle Master (Bronze Dragonborn) • Bear Barbarian (Half-Orc; best cliche ever) → RMcD • Champion (Mountain Dwarf) • Devotion Paladin (Half-elf) → Agham • Elemental Hunter (Wood elf) • Lore Bard (Lightfoot Halfling) → Garreth M • Open Hand Monk (Human, Observant feat) (There are four more characters, but their sheets aren't complete yet - Life Cleric, War Priest, Conjuror, and Evoker. They will be tested at a later time since the people I outsourced them to haven't finished them yet :P) I'm looking for ease-of-use for these characters, as well as making sure the dungeon is a reasonable challenge for new players (which might mean it's easy for experienced players). The dungeon should definitely be completed in three to five hours (and can technically be won in one hour, but I won't let that happen :P) Once these characters are checked out, I may end up marathoning this one-shot tomorrow. There are further plans for another one-shot that increases all of these characters to Lv5. I will note that I am an inexperienced player, let alone DM, and that I may have my own student with me. Feel free to bash me for being terrible ;u; I can only get better with criticism.
Sounds like good fun. I have been playing since 2E and have been DMing 5E for 6 months so I believe I have decent experience. Since my regular Thursday session is off this week, this test game would be a good substitute. I'd like to try out the Devotion Paladin character. I probably can't play for more than 4 hours though.
Noted. Need two more.
I'll play. I can pick up any one of them. Spellcasters are easiest to break though. Or rogues.
Well, you should pick one then. Mind you, we have one full caster and two half-casters right now, one of which has been taken. The rest of the full casters aren't complete ^^*
I'll go with the bard.
Noted. We need one more.
I wouldn't mind playing with the barbarian, to clarify is this voice and how many players will there be I'm a bit confused by that.

Voice-only. Three players, possibly two DMs. With that, we're filled.
Ah, I was a bit confused since you said you had a bunch of casters which is why I went with Barbarian.

Yeah, the issue is that I don't have the full casters filled in. Bard is the only completed full caster :P But you've got two healers with the bard and pally, so you should be fine.

for the humans I would suggest using an array with 2 odds as otherwise the stat bonuses are worthless to them (ie a 15/15 instead of a 16/14), half elves benefit from a 15 instead of a 12 or 14 also.
I just gave the humans the 'variant' option, which includes feats and skill proficiencies. I think that makes up for the stat loss, especially with the assassin.

I'd absolutly be interested in playing th champion mountain dwarf. It's right up my ally as far as play style. My Wednesday and Friday games got canceled so I am looking to get my fix in this week. I understand you were looking for 3 players but 3 is just a group 4 is a party ;) Just curious, what weapon(s) do you have him using and what was his level 1 fighting style choice?
I think I had him using a Battleaxe, but I really only want to run three at this point in time.
