Some ideas I've had while setting up maps in roll20

-Add the ability to save individual tokens(including GM notes) for use across multiple campaigns. -Add the ability to upload your own music from inside the game, as opposed to having to upload through soundcard. -Add the ability to take screenshots without the UI in the way. -Add a fill tool to the drawing tools. -Add a button to hide/unhide the GM notes layer. These are just a few ideas I've had, as a relatively new user. Thoughts?
Welcome to the app and the forums You must not have read the effcient forums post (please one suggestion per thread) But to comment on your ones 1. totally agree (I use the character profiles to save the character info maybe a option to assign one to a profile that can be dragged on to the map) 2. copyright issues, soundcloud is reasonably good about that (also would mean complete overhaul of the jukebox) 3. Meh, not a lot of people would use it 4. having full blocks/shapes are already possible 5. you can preview your map as a player using the "rejoin as player" button
4. Yes, but I want to draw lines and then fill them in. I know you can have the freehand function fill in the space between the two points, but that doesn't completely fill the area, and it leaves ugly lines all over the place. 5.Yes, but this takes quite a bit of time to do, and you can't add anything to the map. I'd rather just be able to hide the GM notes for mapping.
... comment deleted - sorry @Riley ...
That's very useful trick to see exactly what your players are seeing
@Jace @Jeremy Ack! Sorry, that was not intended to be changed. It can cause unpredictable issues. Not to mention players could change it to "true" and turn off the Fog of War. So I've had to make it a constant so it can't be changed. Sorry :-(. I will look into adding a feature that lets you view the map with the fog of war black and the GM info layer gone, though, very soon.
how about an erase drawing option for the draw, not just a delete.
Sorry @Riley, just was digging around the objects and checking them out. Next time I'll lay off the technical stuff :D
