Kind of newer player looking for weekly game

I got into DnD a few months ago and have a small game going on with some friends on roll 20 already. It's every Saturday evening and I'd like to expand my game time by getting into another game with some people. Currently I'm playing a Gnome Bard and having a good time, I'm down to play whatever roll is needed in a game that might have me. Really hope to hear from some people interested in adding another to their game. DnD is pretty new to me and I'm having a blast, I'd love to keep it going.

Does it have to be D&D or are you open to say a totally different game and system?

Your home town was invaded by goblins. your people were killed or captured. You survived long enough to be placed in a subterranean prison. Unfortunately the vast labyrinth that the prison was in is filling with molten lava many prisoners have escaped and are fleeing and attempting to survive the chaos of the inhospitable environment find the surface, find freedom, find life. D&D 5E You start at level 0 (you reach level 1 at 200 xp) with just a race/background/6 attribute scores 6 hp+ con, but no equipment besides prison clothes. players can join or leave the game at anytime, this is done in character by finding more prisoners, evading, getting split up and rejoining the group. Will run sessions 2-3 times a week for max availability. Most likely on Monday through Thursday 5:30 PM PST start.
