BACKSTORY PREP TIME Each PC will get their own Backstory thread. To be posted soon by Gold. Post your Backstory in addition to Journal this week. DEADLINE GOAL is to have all 6 PC Backstories posted by next Tuesday May 19 . Those who need extra time can keep working on backstory up to Tuesday May 26. So take up to 2 weeks if needed for this. You can do a short Journal to save more time for working on Backstory. Backstory length is unspecified. You can write short, or long, any format, any style. Normal expectation: 3-4 paragraphs. Up to 3-4 pages would be okay too if you write a long story. You can add to the Backstory thread later, such as updating pictures, or timeline as you develop. It will be a whole thread for your character as we go on in the campaign. Backstory should stretch from "Birth" OR the time you began your career, up to the time you joined the larger Party. Please refer to your area of Origin, and your "line" or path on the regional map. Discuss with Gold if you're not sure. Mention incidents that happened along your journey, path on the map. Meet with Gold ASAP if you want to add encounters along your path. You can literally play through a few short solo origin scenarios if you want to. Some PC's have done this. It's your story of (1) "how you became an adventurer" combined with your story of (2) "how you travelled from origin place to Portlandio area". Prepare to post it once you've seen the Individual Thread devoted to your PC.
