perma gm lfg pathfinder or d&d

Hi folks. Long time storyteller and gm looking to play for a change. I haven't played d&d since 2nd ed nor have I played pathfinder but I'm getting the fantasy itch. I'd love to play in a long-term, serious game. I can joke with the best but I'd still like the focus to be on the game. I'm a heavy rp guy that enjoys thinking more than rolling dice. Political games or the like are preferred over dungeon crawls. Sunday evenings (est) are best. Lots of gaming and rp experience so I guess hit me up if there's anyone either interested in running a game or in the same boat!

Well I like simple, that's why I play pathfinder because it seemed so simple. But I don't have any of the books. Also, derp, I completely overlooked OP wants to play not GM.

Hello, I am an eastern standard time player with relatively flexible hours (when me sleeping disorder permits). Have pretty much zero life so my available times range widely. Although, mornings my time before 11am Eastern are typically off the table. I have little experience with pathfinder I'm an old hat at 3.5 which is roughly the same. I don't have any interest in 4e or 5e. I have a character I wish to use and I'm not really interested in changing away from that idea unless something supremely better passes my way. Like the OP I'm far more of a roll player than one who focuses on the dice, and I love the world-spanning "epic quest" and sandboxy campaign. But as long as there is some level of complexity to the game I'd be content. I'd also be tickled pink for a multi-day [a week] session, but obviously that's rarely possible. Some of the issues that might drive me away would be rule lawyers, rude people, total party killer DM's oh and did I mention rude people? I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor often crosses the line into mature jokes. As a result I'm hoping I can find a game that allows mature content so I don't have to spend energy worrying about controlling my tongue (though I can if I must). I have skype and that is really all I have to offer for alternative chat options except for roll20. Though, I do have access to TS3, Mumble and Vent, but only if you allow hands free voice activation. Message me if you are interested and still have room. TobyFox2002.
