Wild World Wrestling - Anyone Interested?

Hey everybody, I'm gauging interest in running a promotion using the Wild World Wrestling rules. Wow I have been playing my own in depth homebrew wrestling RPG for years now and I never actually knew there was a wrestling RPG out there. I guess I should have typed those words into google a long time ago. Anyway I am a big wrestling fan and I would be interested in playing it.

Awesome! Right now I'm getting some graphics together that would help us. I found an arena on Sketchup that we could use as a map. I'm just dressing it up with textures and such. Here's what I have so far...

I would be down to do something like this, looks fun. I couldn't commit to playing steadily every week though, but could jump in for some one off things every once in a while.

I bought and read through the WWW book. It looks like a cool system. Seems to be a little needlessly complex, but maybe that is just looking at it from a birds eye view. When do you think we are going to be getting started?

Should be pretty soon now. I'm gonna use the RWF promotion book to get a story started, and I'm just getting some other graphics together like belts, logos, and tokens. Do you want to create multiple characters or play as a single?

I was waiting for you to get further along in the planning before I started rolling a character. I noticed in the book it gave several options of levels of wrestling, so I didn't know what level you wanted the players to roll up. I was think of rolling up at least 2, maybe 3 wrestlers. Let me know what you are thinking for starting levels.

I've been reading through the rules, and I agree they can be complex at times. I was thinking maybe we can play through a match or two on here to get the hang of it, what do you think? I'm off tomorrow and I get off at 6:00pm central during the week. What do you think of bringing one curtain-jerker, mid-carder, and main-eventer to the session?

I'm extremely interested in this but I don't have the scratch to drop on a book I may not even use. Anyone already have a copy of this I can at least look over?

Hey everyone, just a quick update. I became really busy with work for a while but I've still been working away at the campaign. The new Main Event Edition of the rulebook has been released and I have just about everything ready. I just can't decide if I want to use a pre-made federation or if we should all collaboratively create one. What do you all think? Would you rather create a group of wrestlers to control or create one to take him/her through the ranks?
