New D&D player looking for a group to play with

I just started to learn how to play D&D , I have never played in a actual campaign and would like to do so. I have alot to learn but I learn quick and do alot of my own research on my spare time. EDIT: I can play 3.5 or 5e or Pathfinder. I am not aware of many other editions since I am a new player. I can play anyday other than Satuday before 5pm and Sunday before 7pm (5/22/2015 @ 1:41PM)

Do you have a rough understanding on how to play? How about character ideas?

Yes I have a rough understanding on how to play, already had my character background and all with a campaign some friends were going to do but have never started yet.

What also helps potential DMs, is letting them know what version of D&D you're interested in. Is it AD&D, or 3.5e? 4e? 5e? Something else? Also, what times would you be available?

I'm trying to set up a game of D&D 3.5 for the next couple Wednesdays around 8am GMT if that works for you. It's probably going to be a Ravenloft-esque game.

I'm getting a group together for bi-weekly games on either Friday or Saturday nights. We would be playing 4e if your willing to give that version a shot
