LF 1 DM and possibly a few more players for DnD

Hello, I'm looking for a DM to run any version of DnD (DM's Choice), we currently have 4 players, but would be welcome more if needed (new player are welcome) we are all pretty close friends looking for a continuous weekly session hopefully from level 1 to 30, We are all pretty well experienced with DnD playing AD&D (mostly) but we are all open to any version. We are all looking forward to starting very soon. please let me know if you are interested. Thannks
Hey I am very new to D&D, basically just started learning in the past 2 weeks and would like to play if you had any open spots. I have a rough understanding of D&D and watch streams consistently thru the week.
Sure of course you can join! We just need a DM now..
What are you looking for? Also what day and time are needed?
well if you are looking to DM the game we can leave that up to you, I can tell you that we are on the Eastern Standard Time in the US, and we are all night owls. Sunday night - Thursday night are good, but like I said we are all night owls so children and work wont be an issue for us
I have been wanting to try out Freeport. If I do GM, it would be Tuesdays. I will still need a little bit of time though. It is not a guarantee, but I will see if I can come up with something.
I'm not familiar with Freeport, is that Pathfinder... I don't think anyone in the group has played Pathfinder, what are the similarities to DnD? I know the group would be okay with it, I just would like to familiarize them with any changes, as far as time goes, how much time do you need?, no rush or anything, I know we are all very eager to begin. Tuesdays are actually perfect.

Freeport is a third party setting for Pathfinder. Pathfinder is a much improved version of 3.5. I think that I will need two weeks from this Tues, hopefully less. Freeport is a massive coastal city with a long dark history revolving around piracy. A new version just came out that has all of the new and altered cruch, as well as a large description of the city. I do not know if there is a less expensive way to get a hold of the crunch legally. Bessides the pdf. EDIT: I just looked it up, there is a player's guide pdf. http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/144459/Players-Guide-to-Freeport
gotcha, that all sounds great, hoping things don't fall thru, let me know if I can help. is there a way we can private message with the whole group, I just recently got back on Roll20, so I'm still kinda new to this system.
I am new to Roll20 myself. As far as I know we would have go to Skype or something.
sounds great, again let me know if I can assist you in getting this off the ground
I'm trying to set something fast up for 5th Edition AD&D tonight. If anyone's interested.
My current thoughts. I want the characters to be part of the city. I will be using Background Skills from Unchained. I will also look into Downtime stuff from Complete Campaign.
sounds fun, I got the other guys to make their accounts today and will be joining this thread soon. I'm thinking about rolling up a Halfling Rouge, background still needs fleshed out but that's what I'm leaning towards.
The Campaign is up. I will be sending invites to you two shortly. I will need to know who the others are.
