Looking for others interested in Mouse Guard - One Shots to Start

Hello fellow gamers, I recently saw a couple of threads here for Mouse Guard that I was a bit to late to get in on. In reviewing them there seemed to be more interest than slots, so I thought I would see if there is still interest in a Mouse Guard game. Although I'm new to both Mouse Guard and Roll20, I'd consider running a session or two. Let's try some one shots before committing to anything long term. If it did turn into a continuing group, I'd hope that it would be one where the GMing would switch off to encourage others to try running the game too. I'm in the eastern time zone and should be able to do shorter evening sessions say 9pm-12:00am on Tuesday or Thursdays. Other times are somewhat negotiable but Wednesdays are out. Anyone interested?
I'd be interested in a Thursday session. Probably won't be available this week, but I should be available the following weeks.
Thanks for the quick response Balladeer. It may take a some time to get things going depending on interest and schedules. Hopefully we get a couple more soon so we can start the process. BTW are you looking to be both a player and a GM if it turns into a more long term group? Just curious.
BTW are you looking to be both a player and a GM if it turns into a more long term group? I'm happy to do either.
I'd be interested. Mouse Guard looks like a lot of fun, but I know next to nothing about it. I'm probably good for Tues or Thurs evenings. I just started a new job, so I haven't found out my new work schedule yet.
Hi Scooter, have your read the comics? They will give you a feel for the types of things that go on in the game. You can find digital versions online. Also check out the following review (one of many online), http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2011/12/mouse-guard-rpg-box-set/ Once your schedule is firmed up let us know.
If it opens it up for more to participate, I could possibly do weekend evenings, especially for one shots.
I am also new to both Mouse Guard and Roll20, but I'd love to give it a go. Tuesdays or Thursdays would work for me. I'll need to familiarize myself with the world and system a bit first. I've really liked what I've seen so far and I'm fairly smitten with playing a mouse. I've been a fan of the Redwall series for years.
Well, three players is ideal for a patrol. So we have enough to get started. I will need to spend some time getting familiar with Roll20. Balladeer do you want to set up a campaign for when you run and I will do the same for my time as GM. Scooter and Cortney, review the review link above to get a feel for the game. I wouldn't worry to much, the system is fairly easy to pick up overall. You can learn as we go. If you are interested the pdf of the rules is down from $34.95 to $19.99 on rpgnow.com, not bad for a 300 or so page game. Also, here is a link to a site where you can get the comics digitally. http://www.comixology.com/Mouse-Guard-Fall-1152-Collected-Edition/digital-comic/MAY090648 Looking forward to it.
I just got the rulebook off rpgnow.com, which means I know what I'm doing with my Monday evening.
I would be interested in this. Tomorow night correct?
Hi Charlie, sorry, not quite that quick. We are just getting started, we haven't worked out details yet for the first session. I'm new to Roll20, haven't used it yet, so I need to come up to speed on it. A couple are still working schedules. So it's likely next week before get things going.
I would play a couple one shots.
I'm free next Tues and Thurs. I'll see if I can borrow a few issues of Mouse Guard to get a better idea.
