The three humanoids eat breakfast, while Cat steals some food from the kitchen. At this point Clifton discovers that the cat can talk. The Touv man from the night before, Oki, tells them he has a job for them. If they take it, they'll be allowed passage on his ship. The job involves acting as "muscle" to ensure that a book-exchange with a nobleman goes smoothly. When they arrive at the house, however, they discover that it has been infested by demons. After destroying the demons, the nobleman comes out from his hiding place in the kitchen. It's revealed that he opened the book, which somehow triggered the demons to emerge. Cat speaks to everyone, causing the nobleman to faint. It sucks, especially for a text only party. From now on, combat fluff text will be at a minimum. We'll push through combat as fast as possible, since we've been limited to one combat encounter per session for a LONG time now. Soon we'll hit the point where one combat encounter will take an entire session, not just half or two thirds of it. Don't bother roleplaying combat anymore. OOC your actions as quickly as possible. Don't ask "can I do this?" Just do it. I'll correct you if it's wrong. 30 second rule will apply EVERY turn now. This is no longer "30 seconds to prove you're there," but rather... you got 30 seconds to choose your action, lock it in, and be done. Things are gonna get intense, so plan your actions before your turn hits. Example: Before - Somedude draws his sword, swings it around, and tries to leap over the table to attack the creature. Somedude: [Can I do this?] Me: [Yeah] Somedude hits macros. Me: Somedude vaults over the table with ease, then stabs the creature in the gut. Dark, crimson blood begins to seep from its belly, pooling at the floor beneath its feet. Now - Somedude: i jump over the table and attack {selected|token_name}.
