some suggestions

I tried to paste a .jpg map in and that did not work...a bug? also wanted to upload my own token and that did not work. i would like to see an export option so i can review my pages, journal entries, and handouts offline. i would also use this to "backup" a campaign.
Yes, I agree with the export option. I'm not always online, and I'd like to be able to edit campaigns when offline. A standalone version of roll20 might be just what I'm looking for.

You don't copy & paste graphics into Roll20 to upload them. You can either drag an image from a folder onto the Roll20's map and it'll upload the image or you can upload a batch of images (I believe a maximum of ten images at a time) when you are in "Your Art Library" (that's the star icon that's in the art library tab). Just click on the "Upload" link and drag the files into the supplied box.
