Star Wars: Revolution (Looking for Players!)

In a galaxy far far away...Year 200 ABY....The Galactic Federation Triumvirate as since been decommissioned and the Galaxy is now in a state of factions. With Humans choosing to take refuge in the human homeworlds, keeping their military influence primarily with their mastery of clone technology. Wookies and Trandoshans have long since abandoned their game of cat and mouse, but still are natural enemies according to nature, they just now tend to leave each other alone. Most mercenary-likely races have sided with the Inter-Species Alliance which doesnt include humans. There is no active war, but with a lack of solid intergalactic government, organized crime and factions hostile to outsiders have risen. Most worlds are under control by a Nobles Council that is specific to that world. The Jedi have not been seen for some time, but continue to train and indoctrine new Jedi on secluded monastaries on unnamed planets and moons. As for the Sith they have lost most if not all of their influence on the galaxy, but there has been a recent increase in midichlorians in newborns on almost every known world, rearing more Force Adepts rather than the more formally trained Jedi Knights or Sith. But the Dark side still tempts many, seeking to revive the Sith to once again hold the galaxy in its hands. Must have Mic Roleplay encouraged, lack thereof could possibly lead to penalty Must be well versed or at least informed when it comes to d20 rules Added Rules New Race: Krii'rah The Krii'rah are an insectoid race who appear to look like humanoid mantises that come in a variety of colors. They are generally aggressive in personality and fighting tactics, Racial Mods +2 Strength, +4 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence, -2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma; Krii'rah are short-tempered and menacing,But their sturdy, but light chitin gives then increased strength and reflexes because of the special nerve endings that can feel the wind from potential blows, cuts, or blaster fire. Weakness to electricity: +2 damage from all electrical attacks;Krii'rahs chitin is chemically similar to copper and therefore is an excellent conduit for electric currents to pass through. Hermaphroditic:Krii'rah are genderless and reproduce through a series of chemical exchanges made with a special probiscus that comes out of the Krii'rahs wrist and impales the other in the arm. The process takes about 3 minutes but the making of the egg inside the Krii'rah takes 3 years to fully develop into a cocoon holding exactly 50 Krii'rah infants, each the size of a babys fist and each very docile.Unlike most Insects the Krii'rah care for their children but are usually so wrapped up in military escapades that they are sent to the Krii'rah homeworld which has yet to be discovered by any other race to grow up in "Sek'terkah" or "Growing Homes" so that the children can grow and interact with each other not ever knowing their true parents. Some Krii'rah act masculine and others feminine, depends on the individual. Hard-shelled: damage reduction 3 from blaster fire(non-electrical)
One question: When?
I am a huuuuuuge fan of star wars and really really wanna be a part of this, I am a relatively new tabletop player but am willing to listen and learn. I live in the eastern time zone of Canada and can play just about any time any day. So if you are interested in accepting a semi-noob I'm your guy!
P.s I've played a bit of 3.5 so I hve a slight grasp on the concept of the game and d20.
Well guys, right now I think I have all the players I need. Too many players makes it more difficult to keep track of everything and can cause combat to take a long time. But if some of my applicants cannot show up for the first game then you could possibly be reserve players.
I would really like to join, I'm new to this site and Tabletops in general though. I'm a fast learner and know about d20 system.
Turns out dudes that one of my players that was quick in applying for the campaign on the looking for group page seems to have an odd schedule that may not fit well with mine considering he lives in England and I live in Illinois. So there may be a spot open.
ill take it if it opens up
That depends, what is your timezone and what times are you available?
im in eastern time zone and im available all day everyday
Thats great! I will definetely consider you. We havent set up a day yet as not all of the players that applied have informed me of their schedule, but if you have skype and want to be able to contact me faster my skype name is Scuzzoman. Please post your skype name if you choose to add me so Im knowing who is trying to add me.
my skype is mitch.420
I live in Illinois and I am familiar with D20 but I have never played a tabletop RPG. I would love to find a game I could get involved in. If you don't mind explaining as the game goes along, I'd love to be a part of it, but if not, I fully understand. Thank you!
No love for the Saga system? I'd be interested but only know these rules.
@dingwog The reason I am not running using sagas rules is because it is too simplified for me, I like the complexity of the more 3.5-esque system.
I might have room for more players as some of the ones who applied to join have not posted the information I have asked for which I posted two days ago, and if they continue to forget their application I will be forced to dissmiss them from the campaign, leaving a spot open.
Okay, I was forced to dissmiss previous stated player. That means that I have a spot open, remember must have mic and be at least compotent roleplayer, who wants it?
still accepting new players? I've been wanting to play a complete star wars game for a while now.
Same here. Let me know if a spot opens up.
Would be interested if more slots open up. I've been playing D&D 3.5 for about 6 years now.
I would still be interested in it
Count me in.
