LFG [Pathfinder with vampires] [Vampire: The Requiem] [Werewolf: The Forsaken]

Hey! Hey, you - c'mere... Listen: I'm a long-time Vampire: The Masquerade/Exalted Storyteller looking to chew on some necks. ...That came out wrong. I want to defile the-- no, wait. I want to take a bite out of y--... nope, still wrong. Ok, can I play a vampire? or a werewolf? - I swing both ways. I mean, I like big, hairy m--.... uhhh, *sigh* ...Ok, I don't wanna be misunderstood here. Let me try this again: I'm looking for a game where I can play a creature of the night and get embroiled in a story of love, loss, revenge and learning how to get spattered brains out of lace. If you're fondling a copy of VTR: Blood & Smoke or the new and improved Werewolf: The Forsaken's 2nd Edition - you've got what I'm looking for. OR If you're running a Pathfinder game and you're open-minded about using the "Blood of the Night" supplement, I'm your guy. I'd love to play a vampire in your fantasy... I mean, your fantasy world... I mean, the world of your game, Tolkien-fantasy. My Limitations: 1. So, anyway, since I exist solely as a sentient monolith in the Hellraiser dimension, I can't do Voice stuff.... I mean, Play-by-Voice. Mics and stuff. I can only do text. Meaning, I play in the Roll20 chat. 2. Also, as an ancient monolith I don't want to deal with minors - I only play with humans who are 18+. 3. I require the souls of the innocent for sustenance. What I Bring to The Table: I bring the fire , baby. ...No, no, wait, don't run! Fire NOT bad! What I meant was that I like quality roleplaying and I do my best to help make it happen, I like drama (not the flame-war kind, the Sopranos kind) and storytelling and I like sharing all that stuff with other like-minded people (sentient monoliths are people too, right?). If you're a Storyteller/GM/DM and want to give me your soul like what you saw here, drop me a line and tell me about your game.
No one? Nothing? Really?
I'm not a GM or anything but this was hilarious; I just have to comment on it.
Wonderful post, I wish I had a group to offer to you! I currently only run a Blades in the dark game.
Tell your friends. I'm great at parties - I bring this old puzzle box and it's just a bag of laughs for everyone.
What timezone are you in?
GMT+2
Still here
Come on, Weekend People! You wanna tell me that there's no text-based, adult Pathfinder group that would be open to a vampire character joining in? No text-based World of Darkness groups? No people who would be interested in any of that, at all ?
I may be interested. It depends on when you are available, however.
Thanks for the response, Warjack! I'm fairly flexible and free most days, and like I said above - I'm GMT+2, timezone-wise. What do you have in mind?
I plan on running a game that will be partially text based (players will not be required to use microphones at all, I will simply be using the voice chat option in-game at times to narrate.). The theme is alternate classic pathfinder. The only thing that is keeping me from running a session tonight is that i haven't made maps, and I haven't got a full party of players yet. What you're talking about seems like it could work well. How about I invite you to the campaign and we can chit-chat as I see exactly what your character is going to bring to the table? Also sorry aobut the late response, roll20 forgot to send me a message that you'd replied.
Cool
I'd love to play a text-based WoD game (nWoD, i let go of oWoD a few years ago and dont need to furthe rconfuse my addictions) though tbh after a 3 year break I don't fancy being the ST. If we can put together a decent group for any of the games then I'm massively interested, I need the WoD back in my life and it's hard as heck to find WoD games on here (i stopped playing D&D at 3.5 and frankly don't plan on taking any new editions up after my 200+ sourcebooks became useless -_- lol)
I totally know where you're coming from, Rob. I have a large collection of old White Wolf stuff that will probably never get to be used, ever. It's kind of a shame. However, the new and improved second editions of both Vampire: The Requiem and Werewolf: The Forsaken are infinitely better than anything I've played or ran for the past 10 years. In comparison, the old material now almost seems dry. In the D&D front, Pathfinder was a much-needed overhaul of 3.5, and it's lore is much better. Going back to 3.5 now would be like going back to AD&D 1st edition after 3.5. The only thing I regret about PF is that Ravenloft stayed behind in 3.5, and though the Golarion campaign setting has its own land of Gothic-Horror (Ustalav), it's not quite the same as the sheer amount of lore and flavor that went into Ravenloft.
I'm still free, by the way. Warjack here was talking to me about a game, but nothing got started yet, so... Still looking for a game, here.
I'm always up for rolling around in the Blood and Smoke of New York City. Very interested.
