Changing the order on a game forum

Is their anyway to set up a forum so that you can manually change or set the order of posts.. For example,. I am just starting a campaign, i have currently 5 posts.. Post one. - The story so far Post 2 -5 are the character bios etc now, i have stickied all the posts, (there are others, that i dont want at the top) Porblem is, i want the Post one at the very top and for it to stay their, then the other 4 below it.. at the moment, Post one is at the bottom of the five.. Is there anyway to sort this, or is their a way to say Lock a post into a certain position. ie 1st in the list. etc or is their anyway to make sub folders in the forum, where additional posts can go.

Threads are sorted in order of the last post in them, with stickied threads first. You can also lock a thread to prevent any new posts being made in it. If all of the stickied threads are locked, they will stay at the top, and not change position relative to each other.

What Brian described is accurate. The campaign forum is not very robust for PbP organization like that right now. There are no sub-forums or sub-dividers. The main 3 ways to organize posts are (Only GM can do these actions to a post in your own campaign): 1. Sticky , makes the post stick near the top, however only the Top 10 sticky posts will appear on the front page. 2. Close , no one else can write another reply in the thread. 3. Sink , this will send the post to the bottom of your forum topics, into the pool of sunk posts.

Brian, I believe the forum threads are tiered as follows, based on testing in my own campaigns: All sticky posts (in order by latest post) ---------- All non-sticky, non-sink posts (in order by latest post) ---------- All sink posts (in order by latest posts)
