Can't Access Characters

I'm a player in the following campaign and I can't seem to access my character sheets. I've talked to GM and we can't find the issue. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/720530/fire-emblem-rpg

Just to be sure. Did the GM got into the editing of the character sheet and made sure you are listed in the viewable by field and in the controlled and editable by field?
We also have this issue in our campaign so i think it's a Roll20 problem.
UPDATE: Matthew B. If you have a character sheet in a sub-folder, move it to the root. It's a problem with sub-folders.
We just found out that the problem was linked to the folder system. If we put the characters and handouts at the root, we can see our stuff. Just so you know, you can work around the trouble until it's resolved!
Same here. I just logged in to play my weekly game, and can't access the character sheets now. Campaign in question: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/731358/curse-of-the-crimson-throne

Posting here to confirm I am also experiencing this problem with my players. I tried some basic trouble-shooting -- told players to try a different browser, delete their temporary internet files, made sure the sheets are made visible, etc. Weird thing is, players cannot see the sheets, but I can see all of them. Moving The files to the root worked, thanks!
How do you move them to the Root??

The top level, above any "folder" like "Characters", "Handouts", use the mouse like you'd drag a file out of a folder to the foler above it. Use the mouse to grab the character name by the 3 lines to the left of it, and drag it up and to the left until a highlighted area appears above the folder names. Let go of the mouse button and it should move the character. Probably only the GM has this ability.

I have this problem, here's the summary of my investigations (Firefox, Win7): 1. The original "Characters" and "Handouts" folders visible on my GM journal don't show up on player journals even if I put in (say) a handout which is visible to them 2. If I create a new folder called "PlayerHandouts" and create a new handout ("hout1") in it and then make "hout1" visible the players see the new folder with the handout just fine. 3. If I then drag a subfolder "Sub1" (from say the Handouts folder) into the "PlayerHandouts" folder it sometimes appears correctly for players but sometimes appears nested within another (spurious) "PlayerHandouts" subfolder. So instead of getting: "PlayerHandouts" -> "Sub1" players see "PlayerHandouts" -> "PlayerHandouts" -> "Sub1" (In both cases the top level "PlayerHandouts" folders still contain "hout1" OK.) Speculation: This problem maye be something to do with there being a subfolder at the same level but before the "Sub1" subfolder which contains nothing the players can see. 4. Some players are seeing a top level folder indented as if contained within a folder above (when it is actually at the top level). For example (using _ for hard indenting): + "TopFolder1" ____+ "TopFolder2" or expanding "TopFolder1" * "TopFolder1" ____* Ahandout ____+ "TopFolder2" when it should actually be (as seen by the GM): + "TopFolder1" + "TopFolder2" Hope this helps. (And btw I love the folders feature!)
I think I may have found what was causing this. If this happens to anyone else (Characters that players have permission to view under "Show in Player Journals" setting aren't visible to the players), can you please make a quick Copy of the Campaign it's happening in before you move any folders around to fix the issue? That way I can have a test case. As I said though, hopefully it won't affect anyone else going forward :-)
My characters had this issue as well last night and I have not done any moving of the sheets. You are welcome to join my campaign or a copy of it. Just let me know.

Hi Aaron. Our games are on Thursdays so I will report tomorrow night if it's solved or not. Thanks for checking in.
My players just confirmed that this is no longer an issue. Happy gaming!
