The Character Sheet app, Roll20 for Android is compatible with Android tablets with 7" or higher screen size with Version 4.4 or later.
Roll20 for iPad is compatible with iOS 6.0 or later. The roll20 site and virtual table-top, is accessible with a Supporter Subscription, just by opening the web site on your mobile device.
To see the maps you can just log into the Roll20 site using a browser as normal. You cannot view the maps using the app however as it is not built for that.

To just point it out; Using the full roll20.net site on a mobile device is a Supporter feature. You won't be able to as a free user.
