Before the resurgence. science and technology are on the rise but the Victorian interest in spiritism and Faeries mean that a new glimmer of hope has finally arrived. Vampires walk the streets, mediums talk to the spirits of the dead and somewhere in London a new Freehold has been discovered, not only by the Fae but by their enemies as well.
