Name: Gram Brightmoon Race: Human (variant) Class: Cleric (Nature Domain, NG) Background: Outlander Gram always had a special connection with the land and nature and left home in his early teens to see more of the world. The youngest son of a family of trappers who lived far from the more civilized regions, he came upon a circle of druids and priests deep in the wild woods who took him in to their temple as an acolyte of Eldath, Goddess of Peace. There he thrived and gained a connection to both the forces of nature and the divine power of his goddess. One day, as he meditated at a still pool, one of the Archons of the order came to him, saying "Gram. You have done well here, and the goddess is well pleased with your practice and prayer. But our oracles are troubled, and there are ill omens on the wind. We know that you, as well, have been plagued by disquieting dreams of fire and upheaval. We believe you are the one who should go out into the world and see your way through the clouds that darken our vision." With that, the Archon gifted him with a carved amulet of ironwood and leather as a symbol of Eldath and what provisions he needed to reach the cities and towns of the wide world, to see what he could see. Gram is a quiet, ascetic type who has little use for finery or civilization, feeling that natural, wild areas are far more important to preserve. He loathes crowds and inns, preferring to sleep outside under the stars. He has little experience in civilized lands, only having visited a few times as a boy when his parents traveled to town to trade fur and hide. He is slow to trust and does not give his friendship easily or quickly, but once given he is loyal, honest and compassionate.
