Hello! I'm a frustrated GM who hasn't been able to get players who actually show up to the first session, I hope Roll20 doesn't betray me. Anyway! The system I'm using is homebrew, I have taken examples from other systems which you will see soon. My timezone is GMT+2, I planned to be able to play weekly on Saturdays. The game system itself is simple, while we use dice for the most part we use players for the most part. The goal of the game is to start out as an general who will lead and army and then...Completely players choice, sure there are kings and whatnot but it is completely up to the players what they want to do. A small warning, if you go crazy then the game will get pretty difficult pretty fast. There are 8 races to choose from but, some of there races can't be mixed together into one party. There are multiple factions and because of their political relations it is not possible to mix certain races into one party, the players actions will help shifting alignments of these factions however and will affect the next game to be played by those players. A little more about the system, we're going with a simple dice roll and checks with weapons against armor. Standart stuff, there won't be stats thou. There is a level up system which will make the player stronger but there aren't going to be twelve stats, the system is oriented in large scale warfare after all. Also, one reason why it is this way is to attract new players. Let me give you an example: The first two sessions go into character making, when the game actually starts going the players try to decide on leadership. On the fourth session there's the first battle, the battle ends on the fifth sessions because the players are arguing about how they should fight, who they should fight and how to share the loot. On the sixth session no one shows up, dedicated players are really hard to find on the internet. That's one reason why we're going with a simple system instead of the classic complex D&D system. In short, there's war and you're a part of it. All of your actions matter. Every. Single. One. Anyhoo, if ou have any questions I would be more than glad to answer them.
