Detective Game With A Twist

It was a rough night on Roll20. The kinda night where you look back at all the dragons slain and dungeons plundered and wonder if stabbin' yourself in the eye with a +4 pencil of painful lead poisoning would spice up what had become routine, simultaneously swearing to Pelor that if he sent something different your way, you'd swear off alignment arguments. Suddenly, a mook comes in with a 5 cent hat and a $30000 vocabulary. He says he says he has case. He looks like a case himself. But you're a freelance roleplayer, you've seen worse. Calls himself Lou the Mad, says he's got a campaign of Toon (a rag by the palookas at Steve Jackson games) that he wants to run. Says it's a grim dark parody adventure using a rules light system. You ask him what's the catch and he smiles like a shark eying the brobdingnagian backside of George Lucas in an inner-tube. He says you gotta leave your sanity at the door. Like a Janeane Garofalo stand up routine, he's gone on too long and he was starting to stink up your forum. You tell him you'll check it out. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/5930/toon-noir Something tells you to leave him in the dust, but you're too curious to leave this one alone. Like a mouse wondering where the cat has gone, you click the link and hope you don't smell Tuna.

Looks interesting but I know for a fact that gaming in a noir style is not something that I know how to do.

Never watched anything that involved that genre. I have no idea at all what that genre is about other then the one epsidoe of Mike Hammer I watched years ago.
Ah. I see. Sorry to hear that.

don't be. It was something that was not watched in my house by my family. Good luck with the game.
