Deleting forum boards

Hello, I'm a new DM and have been running my campaign with my friends for a while now. I have a problem though. One of my friends was nice enough to make a forum board for me to have players post their journal's on but we found out that the in game journal pages were much better. So now I'm stuck with this forum that's sitting there being useless. I clicked on the delete button but that only deleted my friend's post. How do I get rid of the board itself?

If you are able to delete the first original post, it removes the whole thread.
When I tried that the thread stayed there, so that's what puzzled me. I'd like all of it gone. Title, who posted it, and the message "This message was deleted by a moderator" or something. Does it eventually go away when you delete the first post?

No it means you deleted the thread and no one but you, a mod, or a dev can see it. It is called a soft delete. It does not show up in your forum for any of your players. If it bothers you, email the devs at <a href="mailto:Team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">Team@roll20.net</a> and talk to them about it as they know more about the coding of the site than I do. If there is not a suggestion, you could make on about altering the delete function to do a hard delete (that is a complete removal) or giving an option to do so.

Ah thank you. That makes sense and I think I will make a suggestion about that. Might clean things up if many boards are made. Edit: Well, I did what you suggested only this time a different result happened. When I went back to my home screen the board was totally gone. Last time when I deleted the first post and left the screen it was still there, and that's why I asked in the first place. This time I deleted the first post and the whole thing was removed like how I wanted. I guess, maybe it was a glitch that prevented it from being actually fully deleted. Still, I appreciate the help Pat.
