Hello all, Unfortunately your GM has caught the flue, however I have managed to get two players character sheet generated at this time. Kieth has chosen to be a Cyclone Rider. Jackie V. has chosen to be a Field Scientist. For those who haven't played this game system before, I was wondering if you would like for me to pre-generate some characters for you to use? If you would prefer this option, I am happy to crunch the numbers and then let players flesh out their given characters. Occupational Character Classes (O.C.C) are presented below: Veritech Pilot Destroid Pilot Cyclone Rider Zentaedi Warrior Military Specialist Boi-Maintenance Engineer Communications Field Scientist There are also a number of playable alien races (who have limited access to the above occupations, or default as below): Carbonarian Warrior Praxian Warrior Garudan Warrior Spherian Adventurer Perytonian Wizard Warrior One of the key factors with Palladium games is that in order to complete missions players will need to work as a team, there fore a variety of character skill sets gives the team, as a whole, more chance of succeeding in their given objective. On a side note, I plan on using Google+hangouts for all of our voice based communication. I've not used it to date and we shall have to see how well each players computers handle information loading. The link is as follows: https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/gv5bs54aafztd3w... If players could let me know which option they are interested in then I shall get to work on each request. Thanks very much everyone. Mike

id like to make a sheet myself, im quite find of the customisation, so if you could lead me in the direction, of where to make one, id be thrilled. If you cant, then id quite enjoy a Field scientist, but you would have to talk me through the skills and whatnot, basically everything about this gametype :p
I would like to hear more about the military specialist. Leaning more that way
Sirberzerk said: I would like to hear more about the military specialist. Leaning more that way The REF Military Specialist Jack of all trades. Trained in the use of the VR-41 Saber Cyclone (hand to hand light recon mecha). Fair piloting skills in the Veritech Alpha. Main emphasis of training is on espionage. Normally leads a group on covert missions. Master at information gathering and subterfuge. The following playable alien races may also fill this roll. Carbonarite Bearman Garuda cat person
Hi, thanks for adding me :D Please can you explain these two roles? Veritech Pilot Destroid Pilot
No problems Veritech Pilot The Very Elite of the REF forces. (fighter pilot think top gun style, machines that transform like autobots with a pilot inside). Pilots the Alpha and Beta Fighters (and all other transformable mecha from the Robotech series). Also has access to some training for the Cyclone combat Mecha. (VR-52 only). May NOT pilot Destroids. Front line battle units, highly agile, can deliver a fair to strong amount of damage to enemy units. Their vehicles can absorb a reasonable amount of damage, thought mainly rely on their agility. Destroid Pilot The Elite "Grunt" of the REF. Pilot huge non transformable mecha into the front line. Each Destroid packs more fire power than a 20th century tank division. Comparatively one of the slower units in the game. (Think mobile walking fortress). Can pilot every Destroid in the REF arsenal, can specialize in 3 (taking the players skill to another level). Their vehicles can absorb a tremendous amout of damage.

Also, im interested in those roles, im still deciding but I'll be able to decide tonight, also, can I make a character sheet with help from you? I would like to learn about this so I thought making the sheet with your help would help with the learning process
No problems at all in that regard, look forward to it.

If you can conjure me a Destroid Pilot, I'll give that a go
No problems FP
Quick update, we now have four character sheets complete with playable characters. These are as follows: Kieth has chosen to be a Cyclone Rider. Jackie V. has chosen to be a Field Scientist. Elliot P who is a Destroid pilot. Filiberto P who is also a Destroid pilot. Thanks very much everyone, we are getting a good cross area of characters here, which should make for some exiting games.

5. I will be playing a Zentraedi officer. (non-transformable mech with a bit of speed and firepower and some espionage skills)
Thanks again for letting me join. It was fun hanging out and rolling up my character.
Quick update, we now have Seven character sheets on their way to completion. They are as follows: Kieth has chosen to be a Cyclone Rider. Jackie V. has chosen to be a Field Scientist. Elliot P who is a Destroid pilot. Filiberto P who is also a Destroid pilot. Joshu N. will be playing a Zentraedi officer. (non-transformable mech with a bit of speed and firepower and some espionage skills). Bevie has chosen to be a Communications Engineer. RP G. has chosen to play a Bio-Maintenance Engineer. Thanks very much to everyone who has been part of this process. We have a lot of first time players to the Robotech universe so welcome everyone, I shall en devour to work on my setting overviews to provide a more encompassing overview as to what this universe is and how it works.
Hey! sorry I bailed that restarted ended up being a full on repair job
Yeah Ill try and be there for the next time been getting my own thing up and running
Not a problem gents. Unfortunately I shall be heading off to work in Regional Australia for two weeks and shall be almost non contactable during that time. Should you have any problems, or questions please post them here in the forum and I shall attend to them on my return. In the mean time please feel free to "flesh out" your characters in the "bio" section of the character sheets. More than happy for you to chat amongst your selves here online in order to discuss the game setting and time line. I am aware that things are a little vague at the moment in those regards however this is intentional. My intent is to reveal information as you progress in the campaign, with your characters discovering or unraveling secrets. I believe that the story telling element of role play is highly important and the story is far less captivating when you know or can anticipate the hooks and plot twists.
Hey everybody just joined up. Excited to blast some protoculture addicts and dodge some annihilation discs. I would love to play the veritech pilot. Happy to take a premade veritech pilot but maybe customize a bit on a few skills? It looks like the team is really versatile. Maybe we could be commanding a Horizont Troop Shuttle (pg 95-98) since we have some serious technical and tactical OCC minds?
I am mostly interested in Veritech Pilot followed by a Perytonian Wizard Warrior depending on what you need.
I am interested in playing Zentraedi Office focused on vehicles followed by a Military Specialist. As with Taintedmythos I am also open to play what you need in the campaign.
Hello guys, back in civilization again Yah! I have raised character sheets for: Andy Capped - Blank. Tainted Mythos - Veritech Pilot (Basic skills only filled in). Edwardo A - REF Zentraedi Officer (Basic skills only filled in). If there are any players that I have missed raising a character sheet for please let me know, and I do apologize for missing you. Please feel free to upload character avatar images to your character sheets. I hope to be online tomorrow working on campaign information(prior to game start time). If I bump into any players than want to finish up their characters during these times, then I would be happy to concentrate on that so that the group will have the maximum number of players that can participate in the planned training mission/skirmish.
sounds good. I'll try to finish making my veritech pilot today. I'll roll attributes in roll20 soon. If I can place the stats then I'll put highest as PP so I can have the minimum prerequisites... Thanks
I have no idea how to set up stats on Robotech, the only Palladium character I made was a 200 year old elven burster archeaologist... Do not think that works here XD
I am, however, thinking veritech pilot.
