New Player - LFG

Hi, folks. Like many, I'm absolutely new and I'm looking to join a group with a willingness from the GM/players to help/teach me if they can so I'm able to get accustomed to the style of play, different game modes and the rules sets there are as I'm not familiar with them, even if it's a tutorial campaign that I've seen posted around a few times. I'm somewhat very eager and excited to get started and also very nervous because not everyone likes being the new guy and feeling like they're holding people back. At this moment, I'd prefer text-based games, but I can work with voice-based. I'm looking at all game type/scenarios, just something that'll let me learn from it. I'm available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Other days I won't be due to work unfortunately. If I'm eligible for your campaign, post back or PM me. Either way works.
Rhawon, I can understand your apprehension and eagerness to play all at once. I feel like that every time I get my hands on a new rpg. Like Tephra, lol. I am currently looking for players, veterans or new bees to play this system. I've never played it, but I have (at least in my opinion) a great story line with some plot twists thrown in for good measure. I've run games since the 80's and I am more about story than game mechanics, although I do want to play any game properly and within the guidelines the creators set forth. With Tephra, you're looking at a steampunk adventure with a pseudo-victorian setting. I am new to Tephra and you won't need the core rules to create a character, I will help you every step of the way, which is preferrable "cuz that's how GMs roll" lol, since most things require a once over by any games master anyway. Hope you will consider it. Thanks for reading this far!
Know you said you're busy with work but figured I'd check, does that include being busy on Sundays around 8:00 PST?
I have a 4e dnd open gaming group you would be welcome in. Happy to accommodate new players.

Again, I appreciate the thought. Gary M. said: I have a 4e dnd open gaming group you would be welcome in. Happy to accommodate new players. Not a problem. Here is the link: DnD 4e Open Gaming The next game is not scheduled yet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We have just not had one proposed. Feel free to propose one after you read the stickies.
I currently have a slot open in my OSRIC campaign, if that interests you: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/15113/adventure...
