ECLIPSE PHASE interest check

I wonder if there is a GMT friendly players and a GM around who'd be interested in some eclipse phase. I've been looking for a chance to play for quite some time now. I have some experience, not a lot though. If there are fellow EP players out there, let's put a game together. I'd even be into being a temporary GM on a rotational basis.

I would love to play some EP, but I am not comfutable enough with it to run it.

I'd really like to participate as a player. Eclipse Phase is such a fun setting.

So that's three of us now which is not bad. We just have to grab a GM somewhere :D

I'm currently in the process of running a game at the moment (which I'm sorry to say is currently full). Unfortunately GMT doesn't work well for me, but in order to try and encourage someone to GM I am happy to offer various resources I've created for my game. They include tokens for a lot of morphs, an API script for Eclipse Phase style dice and a modified character sheet. The GM would need to be a mentor to use a lot of these (so I guess that's encouragement for a mentor subscription as well)

Well, I'm usually available during the evening on weekdays and all days during the weekends, in GMT +1. That is like 7 hours ahead I think. So if you have a free saturday or sunday afternoon, like from 12:30 in your time zone,that would be around 20:00 here, which means like 4-5 hours of gaming time, which is not bad. So if the weekends are okay for you we could still do ot (if that is okayfor the others as well)

Yeah, I am gonna say I misread the timezone as Mountain time as well. Sorry about that,but the times I would be free would be far too late for you.

Its pretty rare to find a game in GMT, I'd love to sign up if there's still room. I'd much rather play but I could give GMing a shot. I have exactly zero experience in the GM seat but i could try a one shot of some kind.

So apparently that's two of us now :D, maybe Aleksander I assume. 3 would not be bad for a start. We could arrange an ingame setup that goes well with rotational GMing so we could share the load maybe? :)

We definitely need more people, 3's like the bare minimum for a game. I'll see if i can round up more people, but we should consider a time that works for players from the other side of the pond too. And I'm gonna be frank, I ain't too keen on GMing, but I'll do my best with a round robin sort of thing if we can't find a dedicated GM.

Something to consider, GMing is hard work, so why not bribe someone to GM? For $10 you can buy someone 1 month of mentor level subscription. If you've got 3 or 4 people looking to play then that means for $10 you get 3-4 months of subscription for whoever is running (if everyone contributes). Not only does this give them some incentive but it gives them some additional tools (API and custom character sheets) and it helps to keep Roll20 running and developing. And just for clarity, I'm not fishing for people to pay for a subscription for me. I'm already a mentor and as I said I really don't have time to run another game (not to mention the timezones don't work well for me). I've also payed for several months subscription for other people, not as incentive to GM since they were already doing so but simply as a 'thank you'.

Well, I might have a free Sunday every second week, if you're still up for it, cause I can do a Sunday here and there. Just let me know what's what :P

Well, i would gladly join an EP game, i live in a gmt+4, but i can handle gaming at night just fine. I also plan to GM EP, however first i want to practice the language - english is not my native tongue. I'm fairly fluent in it - but i'm not sure, if it's fluid enoght to be a GM. I've never played or GM'd an EP game, but i have a 4 year GM expirience, so if no one else is willing - i could try it out a bit sooner than expected.

Oh my god, yes please. Seriously though, nothing to be worried about, i used to be really self-conscious about my english but it's better to just forget about that sort of thing, speaking is the best practice anyway.

Well, if you, Aleksander, Lord Shaper and Shannon S are in - we already have an optimal-sized group - balance-wise and so we could comfortably play at -1player if something went wrong. I still need some time to prepare the campaign, but i can be ready enough this thursday or friday to play one session. This weekend, however, will most likely be too busy, So the question is - are you in? I'm generally comfortable playing anytime between 10 GMT and 22 GMT. If you are in - PM me your skype and we will start creating characters.

I am not a native speaker either so... :D As for the time, I tink it depends on our GM. I can adapt since I usually don't really do anything on sundays.

I have been wanting to play this for some time now. New to EP but have the core books. About 15 years 3.0 -3.5 and PF experience.

I am in GMT and free most evenings.

I've been wanting to play EP for years. If there's any games running/forming with room, I'm definitely interested, so shoot me a PM if you don't mind a new player. My schedule is flexible, so hours aren't too much of a concern. I can't do voice for complicated Reasons, so text-only for me. I write well, RP well, and I can separate RP and the meta. I'm easy to get along with; I tend to have flashes of inspiration that result in sudden character designs, but I'm always willing to modify my characters or go with something else entirely depending on what works for the group as a whole.
