Track Changes like XP

It would be great if certain values on a character sheet could be tracked over time with a history log. For example Experience Points, it would be great to have a way to add "200 XP" and then it tracks that on "DD/MM/YY" XP was increased by 200XP. This provides a "story" of the XP that was gained over time. This could also be added for other things, like "currency". When spending money, you can track when you gained currency or spent. This can help with to trigger your memory when coming back to a campaign and have a history of what you recently spent money on.
While it isn't the full system you desire, if you type out these things in chat, and turn on the time stamp, it might suffice for the time being. Time stamps are turned on in the settings tab. For my campaigns I have a macro that is basically /desc ?{experience points earned} experience points earned so then I can open the chat history and ctrl-f 'experience' and it will flag each one.

That would be really cool. It would be great to do this somewhat automatically, with math tallying the latest total XP, and automatic date-timestamp on new entries. I already have my Players do this manually, typing it on the EDIT BIO tab of their Character. (The character's Journal tab). Let me copy-paste 2 different examples of styles/formats used by my Players. The first is a Table in Roll20, with new lines added at the top each session. The second is a text-chart (no table), and goes chronologically down the page. Both methods keep-up with the latest Total number, and the amount of XP awarded for the increase per-session. We also write the date, and some descriptive notes each time. XP EXAMPLE BY SANDOVAL Session XP Increase Description June 9 7390 450 June 9 session looting pirate captain's cabin, main deck attack wave) June 2 6940 420 Journal of June 2 session, Lunar Guidance, plus additional thoughts on lizardmen, pirates June 2 6520 500 June 2 session aboard The Sea Ghost pirate ship, subdued the pirate captain May 19 6020 400 May 19 session All Town Portlandio roleplaying and backstory intros May 12 5620 420 Journal of May 12 session about finding Rosewood bow materials, fighting Orcs, tricking Lizardmen, going to Portlandio May 12 5200 500 Eclectic May 12 Session with Find Familiars, Backstory Prep, Dumping pirate weapon cargo into mansion well, eliminated orc troop, encountered lizardmen movers May 5 4700 500 Defeating Sanabel and his pirate loading crew April 28 4200 400 Journal of April 28 session with pirate cave action and initial draft of hand-drawn Sandoval Elf character sketch April 28 3800 500 Met Beartram, fought gnolls and many pirates, discovered pirate cave, horrific blade trap XP CHART EXAMPLE BY WILLIE XP CHART SO FAR: +20,000 XP (Jan 22, 2015, character creation) <<<<< +700 XP (setting off traps, faced a grey ooze, 1st session new PC Willie, Jan 29, 2015) NOW AT 20,700 XP Bard6 +700 XP (a spider, centipedes, bits of treasure in a Dungeon adventure) NOW AT 21,400 XP Bard6 + 950 XP (ogres, 9 bugbears, gelatinous cube, treasure finds) NOW AT 22,350 XP Bard6 +1400 XP (ghouls, ogres, gems) NOW AT 36,350 XP Bard6 +350 XP (skeletons, bugbear, animated armors) NOW AT 36,750 XP Bard6 +400 XP (bandits, centipedes, ghouls) NOW AT 37,150 XP Bard6 +670 XP (epidazzal ape, ghouls-ghasts, Balrain dwarf-turned-ghoul) NOW AT 37,820 XP Bard6 +3500 XP (koralgesh treasure stash and fighting fake copies of our own selves) NOW AT 41,320 XP Bard 7 +35 XP (piddling around in kobold caves) NOW AT 41,355 XP Bard 7 <<<<
Have you tried modifying the said character sheet you're using? If you're not HTML savvy then you could attempt to speak with the author about the addition.
