New Player Looking for Teacher/Group (4e)

Like the title says, I am new to the D&D Scene. I am looking for someone to help me out with the rules, making sure that I am doing things correctly etc, etc. Also if any groups looking for a new player, I would be interested in joining as well, provided the group doesn't mind my lack of experience. I am on EST, available Fri, Sat, Sun in the evenings, and Sat, Sun during the day as well. As far as communication goes I am familiar with Skype, Mumble, TS3, and Vent.
