Including additional information in dice rolls?

Per -- https://wiki.roll20.net/Dice_Reference#Including_Additional_Information /roll 1d20+5[dex_score] -> Should allow me to see "dex_score" when hovering over the +5 in the dice roll summary; it does not /roll 1d20[dex_score] -> DOES show the additional information via tooltip when hovering At least from what I can see, adding additional information to display via something like ... 1d20+x[additional_info] ... doesn't actually show it, but the wiki seems to indicate that it should. Am I doing something wrong? :)

This is working as intended. Quote from the Including Additional Information section (I have bolded the relevant sentance): "If you want to include additional comments before the end of the roll (we call them "inline labels"), use square brackets. For example, /roll 2d20+5[Fire Damage] + 3d6+5[Ice Damage] . When these comments are applied directly after a die roll they show up as tool-tips on the dice: " So to do what you want to do you need to put in: /roll 1d20[dex_score]+5 - Gauss

Excelsias, that was not a dumb question. I was going to ask about it also but you beat me to it. The only dumb question is the unasked question. I tell my son that all the time.

I have to concur with Metroknight, it wasn't a dumb question. Heck, I had to research it to answer the question so now I know something I didn't before. :) - Gauss
