Moving Characters and Handouts to Folders.

Hi, I'm relatively new to the Roll20 system and am trying to get my ducks in a row for an upcoming campaign. I'm trying to get my characters divvied up. You know, separate NPCs, PCs, enemies, etc. However I don't seem to be able to add a character already created to any newly made folders. I tried drag and drop, but that didn't seem to work and I didn't see any options when I right-clicked the folder or charter either. Am I missing something? Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
It's a bit tricky, especially the first time you drag something into a new folder. The secret is that there's a very specific part of the entry that you need to click to drag, and a very specific (and narrow) range into which to drag it. I wish I could be clearer, but... I've seen someone with a nice helpful .gif of the process post it here before; I'm sure they'll be along before too long to help. Just keep trying, pay attention to what's visible when you try, and you'll get it eventually. -Phnord, the not-very-helpful

There's two parts to the entry in the list, when you mouseover it: a set of three horizontal lines and the name of the entry. To move the entery WITHIN THE LIST, you grab by the lines. To move the entry to the GAME TABLE, you grab the name of the entry. I have been repeatedly screwing this up and grabbing the wrong bit since the update, so don't feel bad! ^_^

Here's a section in the wiki that has an animated gif showing how to do this: https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Reorganizing_Journ... You need to be sure to grab the icon to move the item, grabbing the name lets you drag it onto the table. Additionally, when you grab the icon, you need to pull it more to the right to nest into folders.
Aha! That's what I've been doing wrong! I was trying to drag by the text of the character. Thank you all of your assistance. It is very much appreciated.
