I'm considering running a campaign using the revised edition of OVA: The Anime Role-Playing Game by Clay Gardner of Wise Turtle. If I did so, I would be most likely leaning towards the fantasy genre, particularly either heroic fantasy/sword and sorcery, contemporary fantasy/urban fantasy, or romantic fantasy/paranormal romance, but I'd be open to other genres based on player preference. Whatever the genre though, the tone I'd be going for is mostly light-hearted comedy interspersed with a mix of slice of life and action-adventure. In all of my games I try to have a large focus on both player character/player character and player character/non-player character interaction and role-playing (so don't be shy about really getting into character), with comical character personality quirks and silliness that makes the group laugh being highly welcomed. If things ended up leaning towards the heroic fantasy/sword and sorcery genre, the game would likely have a classic JRPG feel to it. I might also use the Uresia: Grave of Heaven setting by S. John Ross of Cumberland Games & Diversions. The days would either be Sundays or Mondays, Japan Standard Time . The JST time zone would probably be most convenient for players who are in Asia and/or Oceania, but I don't mind a multitude of time zones involved if people in other ones don't mind staying up a bit late. As for the times, starting from July I'd be free just about any time during those two days, so I'm flexible. However I'd prefer to start in the morning or afternoon, and run for a few hours. Sessions would most likely be about two to four hours give or take, depending on the number of players. I'm not against going a bit longer though if the session was going really well and all the players wanted to keep going a bit longer. Also, I'd be up for having a session every week, or every other week depending on the convenience of the group. Regarding the number of players, it depends really. Ideally I'd like to have about three or four players, but I'd be willing to run a game even with one very interested player, or with a group as large as maybe six or so. Finally, it should be mentioned that by default this game would be using voice chat and not text chat. Video chat is optional though, I don't usually use it but if the entire group really wanted to then I'd be fine with it. Anyhow, let me know if any of these ideas sound interesting to you and you would be free during the days and times that I mentioned. If so, also feel free to share any ideas you might have on what kind of game you would most like, and what kinds of elements you'd most like to see included in such a game.
