LF DND 3.5 Campaign, Light On RP

Hello, I was wondering if anyone was hosting a dnd 3.5 campaign on the light side of RP or perhaps one in which the players are not spectacularly good at RP. I have been playing with my friends, but I always get frustrated and annoyed whenever we play since so much of the game ends up being RP and it becomes a chore to even manage to get my character in with the party so that we can start playing. Any time after 5:30 pm central on m-thu or any time f-sun is acceptable. Thanks! Edit: To be perfectly honest, it isn't that I hate roleplaying, its just that my friends all take it way to in depth. For example, just to join the party, my character had to go through a 20 question interview about his backstory and how he would be useful, which ended in a skill check against another party member, instead of just leaving it at, "Hey, you guys are after a necromancer, so am I, lets go kill it!", "Cool, you are in."
If your not as big on RP you might try getting into 4E since it's build more around the battle system.
Yeah, but at the same time, I like the character building of 3.5 a lot more since they kinda changed a lot of things, such as more feats, but they do less overall. I like spending hours reading deep through the books to find some obscure thing that can be mixed with classes to create something unique and flavorful. :/
Fair enough, if only their was DnD 3.75 lol
Findin that golden balance between RP and actual progression is a hard thing to find, I support you in your quest young adventurer! I too have spent many an bloody eyed hour sifting through books to build my classes, always ends up interesting lol. On that note, have you checked out pathfinder? I haven't gotten to yet but hear its basically 3.5 revised a bit. I will never touch 4.0, so that sounds great to me. My group is workin on a 3.5 game (cuz we has all da books for that lol). But not sure if it will be open to others yet.
