The Campaign Kingmaker is a campaign in which PCs are put in command of exploring and settling an area of land previously unclaimed southwest of Restov and Brevoy. In the first module we explored the northern reaches of the Greenbelt and rid the land of the bandit menace and several other curious inhabitants. We then entered module 2 by building our first settlement. Welcome to Stagfall. Currently our mission is as follows; Be it known that the bearers of this charter, having delivered the northern reaches of the Greenbelt from the scourge of banditry, having provided detailed maps of the lay of the land, and having done no small amount of work in the exploration of said land and the culling of hostile monsters and indigenous hazards, are hereby granted the right to rule. The nature and laws of rule are theirs to define, and the wellbeing of this new nation is theirs to protect. In accordance for providing a stable nation to the south of central Rostland, let there be a generous stipend of funds, support, and advice provided to this fledgling nation as a token of Restov and Brevoy’s goodwill, such that future relations between kingdoms might be mutually beneficial. So witnessed under the watchful eye of the Lordship of Restov and authority granted by Lord Noleski Surtova, current Regent of the Dragonscale Throne. Preface First off, I need to stress the importance of commitment. If you are uncertain whether you can make the time please don't attempt to join and wind up stealing the spot from a player than can make the commitment in the case that you can't commit. I don't mean to seem mean, but I do have to be stern. That being said, game time is as follows; Fridays, 8pm-1am CST This campaign has a core group that's been around since the start/near the start. That makes up 3 of 6 players for the campaign, the other 3 spots have been constantly in flux as people come and go. Don't get me wrong I love meeting new people. But the campaign requires some continuity. We are smack dab in the middle of the second module. You will be starting at level 6 with 1 tier of mythic levels. I will be screening people to make sure accepted applicants are willing to make the commitment. I am not the DM, I am a player picking up some of the recruitment work for our DM. I will assist you in making your character and putting it into a herolab portfolio, as it is our DM's preferred format. Again, I don't mean to seem angry or mean or anything. In fact I like to think of myself as a very nice guy. But when a campaign has a player turnover of about 20 players in about a 4 month period, things get a little tight. As for application requirements! Applications Applications should include the following: 1.) What kind of player are you and how long have you been playing? -I like to play with a team -I like to role play -I like dungeon diving -I'm a new player -etc... 2.) Do you have any hobbies other than slicing up goblins on Friday nights? 3.) Explain how this time frame would work for you please. -I work at 4:00PM the next day so I can stay up late no problem. -I don't work weekends -I am craving my weekly PF fix and am willing to move stuff around -etc... 4.) Do you have any commitments that may conflict with the game time once in a while but not on a regular basis? (Remember if you give us some pre warning we don't mind if you miss a session or two here and there. :)) -I do volunteer work around town and sometimes it lands on Fridays -Sometimes my wife likes to make weekend trips to Disneyland. -My daughter has ballet performances on Fridays once in a blue moon. -etc... 5.) What do you expect from a DM? -Willing to work around the players -Is hard on players like the universe would be -Takes time to set up rather than rushing into encounters. -Makes things up on the fly. 6.) What kind of character do you plan on playing? 7.) Do you have a working microphone and headphones? NOT speakers. 8.) Any extra info you would like to add goes here. :) *Possible edits to come*
Bump :)
GM is one of the best I've played with on Roll20. Hope to see you in game.
I've sent you the application. Hope to hear back soon for the followup.

Excuse me, but I must ask - Are there any banned books? IE, is it core only; no splat? CRB only? Psionics (DSP, not Occult Adventures)? Banned classes from allowed books? Standard starting gold for level 6, yes? Any stipulations on spending? Point buy? RP heavy or no? CVoices require or no?
Banned boks I cannot say at the moment, I don't quite remember. (Will edit when I get more info) Standard starting gold for level 6 yes, no stipulations as far as I know. Point buy is a 25 point buy. RP can be heavy but not always. Sometimes running a kingdom means dealing with some interesting problems. Those problems are sometimes solved through RP. Voices are required by the DM yes. And working headphones as well. :)
Timothy: I allow Core rulebooks, but not usually many supplements, player's chronicles, etc. Mainly, I try to keep things balanced by only including a manageable amount of material. That being said, I believe you already decided against this campaign earlier because I wouldn't let you play the rules you wanted.
List of rulebooks allowed: -Core Rulebook -Advanced Player's Guide -Advanced Race Guide (though I don't use the ability to customize a race from scratch) -Mythic Adventures -Ultimate Combat -Ultimate Magic -Whatever Player's Companion and Campaign Settings I have modules for in Hero Lab (which is most of them, actually) and don't think are unbalanced. I evaluate them on a case by case basis as rules come up. The things I've come across that I remember banning: -Gunslingers -the 1st level spell "Snowball" -Summoners are questionable, but so far I'm still allowing them.
Ah, I didnt realize this was the same one. Apologies! Hope you find someone you like.
if your still open and willing to let me use a custom thing i'd be more then happy to join
Is there still room for 1 more?
If you're interested, please send your application to Fluffalupagus (the thread originator) - he's handling recruiting for me due to my work load lately.
Currently I have 2 players making characters and that brings us to a total of 7 players. I'm pretty sure that's Lee's cap. If I'm wrong let me know Lee.
Application 1.) What kind of player are you and how long have you been playing? I like to play support players mostly, Im not much for "Dealing tons of Damage" but like to know I'm making an impact. I do tend to build slighly more powerful characters only because I like to have options when I need them and not feel the need to spam everything I have from the get go. Im laid back and like to role play and am entirely fine with 0 combat all game its just a major buzzkill when my characters persona or reputation dosent match their mechanics. 2.) Do you have any hobbies other than slicing up goblins on Friday nights? As I do not work atm, do not go to school, and am a hermit.... Im going to say.... dose porn count as a hobby? 3.) Explain how this time frame would work for you please. I have no time schedualing issues, I would be free to start as early or end as late as need by while showing up reliably on time every week. 4.) Do you have any commitments that may conflict with the game time once in a while but not on a regular basis? No, I don't get dragged into things, I do them on my own time so unless powers beyond my comprehention or control suck me into something compleatly unpredictable there's no reason I shouldn't show up or give immediate notice for a good reason. 5.) What do you expect from a DM? I don't expect much from a DM other than he -listens to things that are really bothering a players (such as no one likes a ruling and it is a constant recurring problem) -is consistent with rules and shows up himself while taking the campaign as seriously as he is able. 6.) What kind of character do you plan on playing? A Caster most likely. Life oracles, Master Summoners, Divination Wizards, and Dervish Bards are my favorites to name a few. I like to follow the support caster role, not really being a "One man Win kit" myself, but an enabler. 7.) Do you have a working microphone and headphones? NOT speakers. Both, a $120 headset with mic that dosent blam in background noise like no other. 8.) Any extra info you would like to add goes here. :) Ive been playing for a while, know the rules of pathfinder almost like the back of my hand. I used to be kinda "Rule lawyerish" but that was before I chilled out and realized the DM wasnt just picking on me for fun (And after I started DMing seriously myself I saw the other side of the coin.)
7 characters is most definitely my cap - and the only reason I allow that many is because I generally expect 1 person to have something come up and be unable to make it each week, thus usually only having 6 players in a session.
Applications reopened, current applications were exhausted. So... Bump. :)
Okay I might as well give this a shot, the time slot works well for me in EDT c: 1.) What kind of player are you and how long have you been playing? Been playing DnD since 4e came out, but have had experience with CRPGs (NWN, Baldurs Gate etc.) for a very long time. I've since mastered several of my own original campaigns and one or two modules. I've really only played as a player in one or two campaigns as no one else in my group would like to DM for me :( I tend to focus on one or more skills to prove my usefulness in the game. ex. In a Saga game I played a while back I started as a Lvl 1 droid with 20 INT and +11 to use computers. The DM's response was tasty. 2.) Do you have any hobbies other than slicing up goblins on Friday nights? I like to cook but I doubt I'd be cooking after 8 CST (10 EDT) 3.) Explain how this time frame would work for you please. I don't sleep 4.) Do you have any commitments that may conflict with the game time once in a while but not on a regular basis? I might be out of town partying once in July (near the end of the month), but this is a big maybe. 5.) What do you expect from a DM? Well, I expect the DM to be flexible. He/she should be able to provide prepared content as well as improvised content should the party go in a totally unforseen direction (which happens all the time). But he/she should also guide the party towards prepared content (otherwise you get a lot of "uhh... there's this drunk guy and he uhh... seems to be... drunk. Maybe you should talk to him." At least that's what worked for my group. Also he/she should make cookies for the group and give us plenty of XP/loot to hoard. 6.) What kind of character do you plan on playing? Don't know yet, and I probably won't know until I start writing up the backstory. But when I do know I know I'll let you know. Ya know? c: 7.) Do you have a working microphone and headphones? NOT speakers. Siberia V2s, use em to soundwhore in CS:GO :p they also have pretty lights 8.) Any extra info you would like to add goes here. : Uhmm... Don't let yeast in your dough for too long otherwise it becomes this alcoholic lumpy mess.
